| The Larson Electronics EPCS-2XPL-1X3PSW-2X2PSW-BP-2X0.75S-1M Explosion Proof Control Station is suitable for busy operations in hazardous locations. Featuring two LED pilot lights and three switches, the unit is rated at 600V (maximum). The NEMA 4X-rated enclosure contains two, 3/4" NPT hubs on the south side of the unit (spaced evenly) and one conduit plug. The EPCS-2XPL-1X3PSW-2X2PSW-BP-2X0.75S-1M is a durable explosion proof control station designed for hazardous locations. This unit can handle 10 amps at 600V (maximum) and 2.55 amps at 250V DC (maximum). Located on the top row, there are two LED pilot lights on the system (one red/left, one green/right). The bottom row contains the following switches: (1) 3-position/left, (1) 2-position/center and (1) 2-position/right. The 3-position switch is rated at 10 amps and has N/O and N/C contacts. The 2-position switches are rated at 10 amps. One of the 2-position switches is equipped with N/C contacts and the other 2-position switch contains N/O contacts. Operators may access an internal back plate inside the unit for mounting customer provided equipment. The EPCS-2XPL-1X3PSW-2X2PSW-BP-2X0.75S-1M is constructed of cast aluminum, equipped with stainless steel hinge and bolts and includes a watertight gasket for a NEMA 4X protection rating. LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life. LED lights run at significantly cooler temperatures than traditional metal halide and high pressure sodium lights and contain no harmful gases, vapors, or mercury, making them both safer and more energy efficient. No extra energy is wasted in cooling enclosed work areas due to external heat emissions from bulb type lights, and the operator risks associated with traditional lighting methods, such as accidental burns and exposure to hazardous substances contained in the glass bulbs, are eliminated. Solid state LED lighting is also safer for the environment as LEDs are 100% recyclable. And recycling simultaneously reduces operating costs by eliminating the need for the expensive special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps. Hubs: A total of two, 3/4" NPT hubs are located on the south side of this unit (spaced evenly). One conduit plug is available on one of the hubs.
