This explosion proof unit features a 24" diameter spark resistant cast aluminum blade that moves air at a rate of 6140 cubic feet per minute (CFM) for superior ventilation and air movement. The 24" diameter propeller on this explosion proof ventilation fan contains a blade pitch of 19 degrees and is constructed from cast aluminum to resist sparking, further increasing the safety of the hazardous environment in which the fan is being utilized. This single-phase direct drive fan has a 1/2 horsepower motor that can spin the propeller at a rate of 1725 RPM. Equipped with three wings, this fan is protected by a polyethylene housing and a powder coated steel guard. Protective features include: thermal, propeller guard and louvers. The non-oscillating unit is not speed control and VFD compatible. Voltage: The EPF-DDEF-24-0.5HP-220V.50HZ explosion proof ventilation fan operates on 220V AC, 50 Hz. Wiring: This unit is a hard-wired ventilation fan that should be installed according to national, state and local electrical and mechanical codes.
