This Class I Division 1, Class II Division 1 fan is rated for use in atmospheres that include flammable or explosive vapors, gas, or dusts. The non-sparking aluminum fan blades offer increased safety in hazardous locations. The EPF-SM-30-200-EPP OSHA compliant 30" circulation fan delivers maximum airflow to a variety of hazardous work environments.

This hazardous location fan has a spark-proof design intended to minimize the chance for the fan to be the cause of an ignition or explosion in a hazardous environment. It is important to note that no fan can be completely explosion proof. However, the EPF-SM-30-200-EPP hazardous location fan has all the design elements that minimize that risk including non-sparking blades and a thermally protected, maintenance free 1/4 HP motor. The EPF-SM-30-200-EPP has an ambient temperature rating of 10° to 40°C.
This hazardous location pedestal fan has a 30" diameter and generates over 10,000 CFM of air output for efficient spot cooling. The EPF-SM-30-200-EPP fan is available in 115V operating at 9.8 amps or 208-230V operating at 4.9 amps. The powder coated steel fan guards offer corrosion resistance and a high degree of durability while the heavy duty galvanized steel pedestal stand offers a sturdy base. The explosion proof fan weighs 68 pounds, spins at 1,140 RPM and is equipped with 200` of 16/3 SOOW cable and explosion proof plug.
Cord Options: The Larson Electronics EPF-SM-30-200-EPP hazardous location fan is outfitted with 200` of 16/3 SOOW cable and an explosion proof plug. The 115V model is available with a 5-15 or 5-20 explosion proof plug while the 208-230V model has a 6-20 explosion proof plug.
