This LED unit is designed for installation in locations where flammable gases, vapors and liquids, combustible dusts, and/or ignitable fibers and flyings exist or have the potential to exist. Protected by a die-cast aluminum alloy housing, the IP66 rated fixture operates on 24 V AC, 50/60Hz. ***PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO THIS HAZARDOUS LOCATION LIGHT FIXTURE*** The EPL-AE.EX-TP-65W-R2-CPR-20M-EPP.16A-24V hazardous area light is the perfect upgrade replacement for traditional metal halide lamps. Suitable for extreme temperatures, the flameproof LED light delivers a powerful 5,178 lumens and high chromaticity for excellent color rendering while drawing only 60 watts. Designed with versatility in mind, this explosion proof hazardous area light runs on 24 V AC, 50/60 Hz. The LED lamp is offered with the following beam angle configurations: 40° Wide Spot, 60° Narrow Flood, 120° Wide Flood or 85° x 135° Aisle Lighter. Suitable for ATEX/IECEx rated sites, the explosion proof LED lamp is protected by a die-cast aluminum alloy housing with an epoxy resin powder finish for added durability. The lens is made out of toughened glass. All external hardware consists of stainless steel components. LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation. Instead of using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied. With LED lighting technology, there is no warm up time or cool down time before re-striking. Rather, LEDs provide instant illumination when powered on, making them more dependable and convenient than halide or incandescent lighting methods. By nature, LED light sources run significantly cooler than metal halide lamps, reducing the chance of accidental burns and increased temperatures due to heat emissions. This solid state design of light emitting diodes provides a more reliable, stable, durable, and energy efficient light source over traditional halide lighting. This internal driver provides the ability to automatically monitor and adjust input current to maintain the correct LED voltage levels regardless of input levels across a specific range. This not only reduces the energy dissipation, effectively lowering the operating temperature of the fixture, but also prevents AC over-voltage and short circuit loading making this fixture virtually maintenance free. Hubs: Cable entry is facilitated by one M25 x 1.5 molded plastic hub with a stopping plug. This unit accepts a cable diameter range of 8-17mm (rubber coated and armored cable wiring) for connection to terminals. Wiring: The EPL-AE.EX-TP-65W-R2-CPR-20M-EPP.16A-24V is equipped with a 20 meter (65') 12/3 SOOW cord that is terminated in a flameproof pin and sleeve cord cap compatible with 24 V AC current. The IECEx/ATEX rated cord cap features non-metallic, polyamide construction and IP66-rated protection. Specially designed color coding and pin reduces the possibility of making incorrect power connections. The flameproof plug contains a clock hour 4 configuration. Mount:This unit is mounted on an aluminum tripod with anti-static urethane wheels for seamless transportation around the work site. The light tower can be extended to a maximum height of 9.42 feet and retracted down to 6.8 feet. Components used for height adjustments during deployment are conveniently located at chest level, allowing operators to make changes to lighting setups and configurations with ease. This tripod is suitable for portable, temporary, and stationary mounting of equipment. A round-pole design makes the assembly easier to handle and transport compared to square-shaped models. A horizontal T-mount platform is provided at the top of the tower for mounting customer-provided equipment. The tripod features a rotatable head for quick repositioning of mounted equipment, without needing to turn the base legs or entire tower. To adjust the vertical tilt and position of mounted fixtures, operators simply loosen both brackets (located at both sides of the light). After the desired position is achieved, the brackets are tightened. An accessible hand knob can be used to remove the mounted fixture for storage or transportation. The base of the lightweight tower consists of three 49.1" legs, with an even 120° spread for a balanced foundation. All three legs are fold-able, which caters to space-saving requirements during storage and allows the assembly to pass through tight spaces. Unlike tripods with bent or L-shaped legs, this portable light tower incorporates a flat foundation for a sturdy base. The tower`s base is also equipped with two wheels for freedom of movement at industrial facilities, as well as streamlined setup and tear-down at remote work sites.
