| Made in the USA The Larson Electronics EPL-AEB-60.22.12 explosion proof enclosure provides operators with a rugged, copper-free aluminum enclosure designed to hold electrical equipment up to 60" by 22" by 12" in size. This explosion proof enclosure is ideal for indoor or outdoor applications where flammable vapors, gases, or dusts exist or stand the potential to exist. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO EXPLOSION PROOF ENCLOSURES* The EPL-AEB-60.22.12 explosion proof enclosure is made of copper-free aluminum, is equipped with stainless steel hinge and bolts, and includes a watertight gasket for a NEMA 4 protection rating. The internal cavity of this flameproof enclosure measures 60" in length by 22" in width by 12" in height. A removable backplate for easy mounting of equipment outside of the enclosure can be provided at an additional cost. Detachable mounting channels provide operators with mounting flexibility and prevent the need for replacement if the mounting channel is broken. A ground joint cover opening provides operators with an easy way to pull wires or mount equipment. An internal grounding lug provides the ability to ground enclosed equipment. This unit comes with a safety chain that is attached to the body/cover to help prevent accidental damage to the hinges. This junction box is ideal for use in applications, such as: offshore rigs, sewage and wastewater treatment plants, coal plants, gas facilities and any other hazardous location where an explosion proof enclosure is needed. |
