This explosion proof enclosure is ideal for ATEX/IECEx rated sites and indoor or outdoor applications where flammable vapors, gases, or dusts exist or stand the potential to exist. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO EXPLOSION PROOF ENCLOSURES* The EPL-AEH-SS-20.16.8-N4X-3X0.75SÂ explosion proof enclosure is made of 316 stainless steel and features Type 4X and IP66 protection ratings. Equipped with a hinged and latched cover, this ATEX/IECEx rated junction box measures 20" x 16" x 8". Ground/earthing studs are available on cover and through the wall of the unit. Operators are provided access to bi-directional mounting lugs at the back of the stainless steel box for wall or surface mounting installations. This unit accommodates conduit sizes up to 4" NPT (maximum). Hubs: This unit is equipped with three NPT knockouts in the following locations on the hazardous location enclosure: (3) 3/4" NPT hub on the south side of the enclosure (spaced evenly). Knockouts are ready for hubs to be installed. Conduit hubs are not installed or included. Applications: Offshore rigs, sewage and wastewater treatment plants, coal plants, gas facilities and any other hazardous location where an explosion proof enclosure is needed. Â |
