Made in the USA The EPL-MPM-150LED-100 Explosion Proof Base Stand LED Light with Magnetic Feet from Larson Electronics is rated Class 1 Division 1-2 Groups C & D and Class 2 Division 1-2 and uses a 16 inch Cree LED light head to produce 21,000 lumens of light while drawing only 150 watts. The portable A-Frame stand features four 200 lb grip magnets to keep the fixture in place during deployment. The EPL-MPM-150LED-100 explosion proof LED light provides 9,500 square feet of work area coverage with 21,000 lumens of light output. This portable LED light is mounted to an A-frame style aluminum base with four 200 lb grip magnets and has an adjustable LED light head measuring 16 inches wide by 14 inches high. The LED light head on this unit produces a brilliant flood pattern of light that is ideal for illuminating enclosed areas and hazardous locations where flammable vapors, gases and dusts may be present. This explosion proof LED light fixture is comprised of a 16 inch wide square LED light head mounted within a portable base stand fabricated from non sparking aluminum with a convenient carrying handle built into the top of the stand and four magnets build into the base. Each magnet offers 200 lbs of gripping force, for a combined 800 lbs of magnetic force to hold the light fixture in place during deployment. The aluminum A-frame is powder coated with glossy blue finish for corrosion resistances and aesthetics. The lamp can be easily adjusted up or down 90 degrees and locked into position by simply loosening the two hand screws located on either side of the light head and retightening them once the desired angle is found.

The explosion proof LED light head in this unit features multiple LED drivers which helps to increase the operational life of the fixture. With traditional LED lights, in the event an LED array or driver fails, the entire fixture no longer illuminates. This new series of LED lamps contains twelve individual LED boards configured in a series of banks. Each bank contains two LED boards with an individual driver. In the event of a driver failure, only one bank of LEDs will be effected while the other banks will continue to operate. In the event that of an LED failure, the mating LED will continue to operate. Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current applied and emitting light. With LED lights, there is no warm up time or cool down time before re-striking and provide instant illumination when powered on, adding to the reliability of LED technology. By nature, LED light sources run significantly cooler than traditional lamps, reducing the chance of accidental burns and increased temperatures due to heat emissions. This solid state design of light emitting diodes provides a more reliable, stable, durable, and energy efficient light source over traditional lighting. The LED lamp produces 21,000 lumens with a color temperature of 5000K, 4000K, or 3000K and a color rendering index of 75, which produces colors and details much more accurately than high pressure sodium or mercury vapor lamps. The copper free aluminum alloy lamp body is powder coated for added durability and resistance to corrosions. Special heat dissipating design in conjunction with LED technology helps this fixture to achieve an excellent 60,000 hour rated lifespan with 80% lumen retention. Included with this LED light is 100` of 16/3 SOOW cable terminated in an explosion proof plug. We offer three cord cap options: 5-15 straight blade plug (standard USA wall plug), 5-20 twist lock plug (120V), and 6-20 twist lock plug (250V). This unit is universal voltage (not multi-tap) and operates on a range from 100-277 volts 50/60 Hz AC, or low voltage 11-25 volts AC/DC. This lamp is T5 temperature rated and the LED light head retains 80% of its lumen output after 60,000 hours of use, far longer than incandescent or fluorescent lamps. This portable explosion proof light fixture is IP67 rated, dust-proof, and protected against high pressure jets and temporary submersion.
