One 400 watt metal halide lamp provides light coverage for 25,000 square feet of work area while a Class 1 Division 2 Groups A, B, C and D NTRL Listing assures reliable protection against inadvertent ignitions. | ||||

| This hazardous area light package is designed to provide operators in hazardous locations with an easily deployed and highly stable UL Listed lighting platform. Included with this unit is a 400 watt metal halide lamp, an in line NEMA 7 on/off switch, and 100 feet of abrasive and oil resistant SOOW cord terminating in an ECP 1523 5-15P Class 1 Division 1 explosion proof straight blade plug. The metal halide lamp is mounted to a metal pedestal platform with an adjustable trunnion bracket that provides vertical adjustability. A single carrying handle is included to provide easy carrying and movement of the unit from one location to another. The lamp housing is weatherproof and constructed of die cast aluminum featuring a hinged, removable front-access door with two captive closure screws for easy servicing. The optical assembly includes a precision-formed aluminum reflector and heat/impact-resistant tempered flat door glass. The aluminum reflector has a chemically bonded, lightweight, non-breakable ALGLAS® finish on both the inside and outside surfaces providing corrosion resistance, durability and ease of cleaning. The optical assembly contains a mogul base socket capable of handling the higher pulse ratings of newer HID systems. This lamp is suitable for use in areas where flammable petrochemical vapors are sometimes present. This light is highly durable, produces high light output in a wide flood pattern, and operates effectively at temperatures to -20 degrees F. This metal halide pedestal mounted light is rated for use in wet areas and marine environments and can be configured to operate with 120-277V, 480V, and 220-50hz VAC.
