Made in the USA The Larson Electronics EPL-SL-10-150LED-RT-IBC-HD Heavy Duty Explosion Proof 1500 watt Cree LED String Light set is approved Class I, Divisions 1 & 2, Groups C and D and Class II, Divisions 1 & 2, Groups E, F, and G and is ideal for inspection activities and temporary illumination in hazardous locations requiring explosion proof protection. This daisy chain temporary lighting system provides 175,000 lumens of light and comes equipped with aluminum framing and wire guard for fixture protection as well as individual I-beam mounting brackets per light head, allowing for flexibility within the job site. This heavy duty explosion proof string light set from Larson Electronics contains a total of ten 150 watt LED work lights equipped with I-beam mount clamps and connected in series along 180` of 12/3 SOOW cable. The 150 watt LED lights are evenly spaced along the 180` backbone and junctioned together with 20` of cable between each light. The cord on this unit is terminated with a 5-15, 5-20, or 6-20 Class 1, Division 1 explosion proof plug for complete protection. With this arrangement, each drop light cannot spark if pulled apart or dragged. A 65` foot tail section of main SOOW cord is included to allow ample length for connection to power sources.

Each explosion proof light fixture provides 17,500 lumens of high quality light while drawing only 150 watts, for a combined 175,000 lumens and 1,500 watts. These lights are a direct replacement for 400 watt metal halide temporary fixtures. The copper free aluminum alloy body is powder coated for added durability and an attractive aesthetic appearance. Special heat dissipating design in conjunction with LED technology helps these fixtures to achieve an excellent 60,000 hour rated lifespan with 80% lumen retention. Each fixture is equipped with a CNC waterjet cut aluminum "frame" constructed of 1/8" thick aluminum to help protect the fixture from accidental damage in the field. An aluminum wire guard with 2" spacing protects the face of the fixture. Light weight and a low profile make this unit an attractive alternative to larger and heavier traditional fixtures and requires less hardware to install. This unit incorporates ten explosion proof 150 watt LED lamps connected in series and is suitable for use in areas where petrochemical vapors and various dusts are present. The cast aluminum housings, tempered glass lens, and abrasion resistant cord make this a very durable unit that will resist damage from chemicals, abrasion, vibrations and impacts. This string lighting solution will provide the lighting you require in a flexible, easy to manage configuration for job site illumination. The lamps can be moved around and mounted to different points within the work area. The lights, however must remain within 20 feet of one other. Each explosion proof LED light features multiple LED drivers which helps to increase the operational life of the fixture. With traditional LED lights, in the event an LED array or driver fails, the entire fixture no longer illuminates. This new series of LED lamps contains twelve individual LED boards configured in a series of banks. Each bank contains two LED boards with an individual driver. In the event of a driver failure, only one bank of LEDs will be effected while the other banks will continue to operate. In the event that of an LED failure, the mating LED will continue to operate. Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current applied and emitting light. With LED lights, there is no warm up time or cool down time before re-striking and provide instant illumination when powered on, adding to the reliability of LED technology. By nature, LED light sources run significantly cooler than traditional lamps, reducing the chance of accidental burns and increased temperatures due to heat emissions. This solid state design of light emitting diodes provides a more reliable, stable, durable, and energy efficient light source over traditional lighting. This stringer light set is Class I, Division 1 & 2 rated for Groups C and D and Class II, Division 1 Groups E, F, and G. This light is universal voltage capable and can be operated with 100-277 VAC, 50/60Hz. We also offer a low voltage version of this LED fixture that operates on AC/DC voltages from 11-25 Volts. This explosion proof LED light fixture is IP67 rated, dust-proof, and protected against high pressure jets and temporary submersion. The cast aluminum body and LED lamp give this light excellent durability and resistance to vibration and impacts. The housing is specially designed to dissipate heat which increases the efficiency and lifespan of the LEDs and electronics.
