The EPL-SL-3-FL1524-LED-TXF-220V from Larson Electronics is a Hazardous Area LED String Light Set that is U.L. approved Class I Divisions 1 & 2. The 2 foot long 15 watt LED tube lamps on this this hazardous location light set provide higher quality light than higher wattage incandescent lights and more light than previous fluorescent lamp equipped models. This string light set is suitable for exposure to vapors and dusts and ideal for use in confined spaces like fuel tanks or grain storage areas and inspection activities in hazardous locations requiring explosion proof protection. The EPL-SL-3-LED-TXF-220V features an inline transformer that steps down 220-240 V, 50/60 Hz line-in voltage to the 24 volts required to operate the lamps. Twenty feet of cord is included between the transformer and the first lamp with ten feet of spacing between each lamp.

This 3 lamp explosion proof LED string light set from Larson Electronics.com comes complete with a 30 foot long explosion proof cord for long range and convenient operation. Each lamp on this hazardous location area stringer features a rugged, non-sparking aluminum casing and unique rod cage and produces cool, glare-free, shadowless light that improves safety in hazardous locations and maximizes lighting efficiency with built-in metal reflectors. These LED lights improve on the desirable qualities of similar fluorescent models with higher output and better light quality and are ideal for paint booth applications, storage container inspections, and applications involving confined spaces such as tank cleaning and industrial container maintenance.
This explosion proof string light set from Larson Electronics contains a total of three 15 watt work lights equipped with aluminum hooks and connected in series along 30 feet of 12/3 SOOW explosion proof cord. A molded T junction is mounted every ten feet, with 3 feet of 14/3 SOOW cord connecting a single drop light to the 12/3 SOOW backbone. The cord on this unit is terminated with a choice of 220 V cord caps. Please make your selection below when ordering. With this arrangement, each drop light cannot spark if pulled apart or dragged. A 20 foot section of 16/3 SOOW cord connects the first lamp and the transformer while a 10 foot tail section of 16/3 SOOW cord is included to allow ample length for connection to power sources.

Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life.

No extra energy is wasted in cooling enclosed work areas due to external heat emissions from bulb type lights, and the operator risks associated with traditional lighting methods, such as accidental burns and exposure to hazardous substances contained in the glass bulbs, are eliminated. In addition, LEDs are also safer for the environment as they are 100% recyclable, which eliminates the need for costly special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps.
The high light output, good light color and evenness of coverage makes these string lights ideal for a wide variety of close quarter work and inspection activities. This unit is configured to operate on 220-240 V, 50/60Hz current that is stepped down via an inline transformer to the 24 V required to operate the lamps.
