Made in the USA The EPL-TL-1X10W-C-PA-SOL from Larson Electronics is a Class I Division 1 and Class II Division 1 Solar Powered LED Signal Light with Audible Horn that is approved for use in hazardous environments where explosive and flammable gases, vapors, and dusts exist or stand a potential to exist, as well as wet locations and marine environments. This explosion proof signal stack light light is designed for routing traffic in industrial refueling stations and processing status indications in manufacturing facilities. The explosion proof siren is capable of producing 5 different tones that can reach up to 110dBa while also being remotely operated for priority alerts. The included 30 watt solar panel recharges the battery in 5 hours with direct sunlight. The EPL-TL-1X10W-C-PA-SOL solar powered explosion proof signal stack LED light with audible horn an signal/traffic light that offers 10 Watts of LED light in red, green, amber, blue, white, or purple light output. This unit`s explosion proof horn includes 5 different tones which can reach peak output of 110dBA and can be remotely operated for priority alerts. This unit is rated for Class I Division 1 and Class II Division 1 work environments, T3 temperature rated, weatherproof/dust-proof, and NEMA 4X and marine rated for wet environments. Multiple units can be configured for different lamp colors and different tones, providing operators in hazardous locations with an effective and powerful alert/signal system that can withstand demanding conditions and be heard over the operation of industrial machinery and equipment. A NEMA 4X rated explosion proof junction box protects the internal wiring and can be tapped in order to connect this stack light to power sources. This explosion proof signal light is durable, can operate in any weather condition, and is rated for Class I Division 1 and Class II Division 2 areas where flammable gas and dust are present or have potential to exist.

LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life. LED lights run at significantly cooler temperatures than traditional metal halide and high pressure sodium lights and contain no harmful gases, vapors, or mercury, making them both safer and more energy efficient. No extra energy is wasted in cooling enclosed work areas due to external heat emissions from bulb type lights, and the operator risks associated with traditional lighting methods, such as accidental burns and exposure to hazardous substances contained in the glass bulbs, are eliminated. In addition, LEDs are also safer for the environment as they are 100% recyclable, which eliminates the need for costly special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps. The 10 watt lamp in this hazardous location stack light provides high output in visible signal colored LED lamp, with a lifespan of 50,000 hours, is protected by durable Pyrex globes and cast aluminum globe guards for added durability, and offer cool operation and clean, bright output surpassing that of 100 Watt incandescent indicator lamps. The LED lamp is colored LEDs instead of colored globes, providing more light output. We offer strobe or steady burn lamps for this fixture. The light housing is constructed of a polyester powder coated, copper free aluminum casting that can withstand 1490 pounds PSI hydrostatic pressure. The housing on this explosion and water proof proof stack light is constructed of heavy duty aluminum while the horn is made of fiberglass. The entire unit is finished in a durable gray powder coat for resistance to corrosion. This stack light is equipped with an explosion proof horn. Attached to the far end of the fixture, this audible horn provides operators with up to 5 different tones that can reach a peak output of 110dBA, powerful enough to be heard over industrial operations. There is no dimming or volume control for the lights or horns. Solar Panel: The solar panel is weatherproof and designed to catch the maximum amount of sunlight possible when properly mounted. As with all solar powered equipment, charging time is affected by the amount of available ambient light. When ambient light levels drop below a certain level, such as on very cloudy days, the unit will not recharge. This solar panel is configured to operate non-stop 24/7, day/night with photocell, motion sensor for security purposes, on/off switch for manual operation, or flying leads for operators to connect to user provided external switches. The day/night and motion sensor is programmed to active the solar panel in the evening and to shut it off during the day, activating the LED light when ambient lighting falls below 1 lux. The motion sensor will activate the panel upon detecting movement within range of the panel. The sealed lead acid battery pack is contained within the solar panel, not the connected equipment. Mounting is provided by a heavy gauge aluminum base with predrilled holes designed to be bolted to walls and flat surfaces for permanent and secure attachment. Power is provided by individual conductors to allow independent operation of each lamp and tone combination. This 10 Watt single lamp explosion proof signal stack LED light with alarm system is an ideal fixture indicator for manufacturing facilities, routing shipping lanes, and any hazardous work area where status indicators and audible alarms are necessary.
