The EPLC-112-LED from Larson Electronics is a Portable Light Cart with four LED Hand Lamps that provides operators with a mobile lighting solution for applications requiring multiple Class I Division 1 & 2 Groups C and D and Class II Division 1 and 2 explosion proof light sources that can be easily managed in the workspace or jobsite. The EPLC-112-LED operates on 120V or 240V AC input voltage that is then converted to low voltage output current with options of 12V AC, 24V AC, 12V DC or 24V DC output voltages. Each LED hand lamp on the EPLC-112-LED produce 110 lumens of bright light for ample work area illumination.

This mobile LED light cart from Larson Electronics is designed to provide operators in Class I Division 1 & 2 Groups C and D and Class II Division 1 and 2 hazardous locations with four mobile LED drop lights operating on 12 or 24 volts and comes complete with 50 feet of SOOW explosion proof cord and 5-15 plug per include hand lamp. Constructed of aluminum, this cart is mounted on no-flat rubber tires and contains a 500 watt step down transformer that converts 120V or 240V AC input current to low voltage output current. Included with this cart are four 10 watt explosion proof LED hand lamps. Each lamp has its own switch and is connected to the cart with 50 feet of SOOW cord.
The included LED hand lamps have a high efficiency LED bulb that requires no ballast, so the operator doesn`t need to drag the ballast housing around. This can be particularly annoying when the transformer becomes entangled in the cord. The light produced by these units has a 6000k color temperature, which is much sharper and whiter than the light produced by incandescent lamps. The light produced by these LED lamps is ideal for close work and inspection activities where good contrast and true color representation is needed. The LED lamps in these units runs much cooler than incandescent or flourescent lamps, resulting in a lamp housing that remains cool to the touch and eliminates the accidental burns often encountered with incandescent drop lights.
LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life.
LED lights run at significantly cooler temperatures than traditional metal halide and high pressure sodium lights and contain no harmful gases, vapors, or mercury, making them both safer and more energy efficient. No extra energy is wasted in cooling enclosed work areas due to external heat emissions from bulb type lights, and the operator risks associated with traditional lighting methods, such as accidental burns and exposure to hazardous substances contained in the glass bulbs, are eliminated. In addition, LEDs are also safer for the environment as they are 100% recyclable, which eliminates the need for costly special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps.
The four included LED drop lights operate off 12 or 24 low voltage current supplied by the transformer and are rated for Class I Division 1 & 2 Groups C and D. Each lamp is connected to the cart with 50 feet of SOOW explosion proof cord to provide ample maneuverability in the workspace. The non sparking aluminum cart has a single integrated handle, is powder coated, and mounted atop no-flat rubber tires to allow easy movement about the workplace.
