| The Larson Electronics EPLC2-70W-HPS Hazardous Location High Pressure Sodium Light is capable of illuminating an area approximately 7,500 square feet in size. This 70-watt fixture is available in pendant, ceiling or wall mount versions and is an ideal choice for industrial applications and use in enclosed spaces. The light is protected by a copper-free aluminum housing and lamp guard. The EPLC2-70W-HPS is approved for use in wet marine locations and is ideal for industrial applications, confined spaces, hazardous locations and areas where a powerful and durable floodlighting solution is needed. This 70-watt light is highly durable and produces 11,025 lumens of output with a 2,700 color temperature rating. During use, the unit provides a wide flood pattern for comprehensive illumination. The pulse start, multi-tap ballast is compatible with 120V, 208V, 240V and 277V. The lamp housing is weatherproof and constructed of corrosion-resistant, copper-free aluminum. A tempered glass globe protected by an aluminum globe guard provides lamp security against impacts. This unit includes a low wattage mogul base. Wiring: Wiring is through a convenient 3/4" NPT conduit entrance. Three-conductor No. 14 cable (with 90° C minimum insulation) is recommended for making electrical connections. Wiring is accomplished through the wiring enclosure provided on the fixture. Wiring methods must comply with NFPA 70 (The National Electrical Code). Mounting: This unit is available in pendant, ceiling and wall mount versions and includes stainless steel exterior hardware for added resistance to the salt water conditions found in marine environments.
