| The Larson Electronics EPP-HL-15A Explosion Proof Plug Installation upgrade for explosion proof and hazardous location hand lamps gives our customers the option of having their selected Larson Electronics explosion proof hand lamps equipped with an explosion proof plug when ordering. This upgrade allows operators to connect their explosion proof lamps within the hazardous area to reduce the need for additional extension cords or hardware. The EPP-HL-15A explosion proof plug upgrade includes our 15 amp rated EPP-15A explosion plug and installation on the hand lamp of your choice. Along with our with our EPP-20A series plug, this EPP-15A plug is compatible with our EPO-20A explosion proof 20 amp outlet and is cross-interchangeable with Crouse Hind ENP general purpose plugs. This plug can be used in both regular 120V outlets and T style outlets although in order to retain explosion proof compliance, it must be mated to an explosion proof outlet. This plug is designed to lock into compatible receptacles by twisting the plug body until an audible click is heard, which indicates the plug is securely connected. Once locked into place this plug will not accidentally pull out. This plug is ideal for applications where moisture and corrosion is a problem and well suited for use in marine and manufacturing environments. This plug upgrade allows operators to connect their explosion proof hand lamps within the hazardous area. This provides convenience and improves lamp effectiveness by allowing the operator to use the full length of the lamps` cord rather than require additional extension cords to make up for cord length lost to connecting outside of the work space. This also reduces the inconvenience and danger of dragging around excessive lengths of extension cord within the workspace that can create tripping hazards. This plug is rated for Class 1, Division 1 and 2 and Class 2, Division 1 and 2 and is suitable for use in areas where pertrochemical vapors may be present. This explosion proof plug features non sparking aluminum construction, a longer housing for easy handling, specially designed brass pins for secure full length pin contact and a 15 amp current rating. | |

| Inter-Compatibility: These plugs will fit non-explosion proof standard receptacles (NEMA 5-15R, 5-20R, or 6-20R). These plugs are are cross-interchangeable with Crouse Hind ENP general purpose plugs. Any equipment requiring these C-H plugs should work with these plugs. Due to possible manufacturer changes we cannot guarantee interchangeability although we have made every effort to ensure cross compatibility correctness.
