| The Larson Electronics EPPB-TWI-MOD3 Explosion Proof Power Distribution Box is designed for safe disconnection of power in combustible work sites. Equipped with an isolator switch, the unit is rated 400V AC three phase 50 Hz (400 amps max). The IP66-rated enclosure is constructed of copper-free aluminum with stainless steel hardware (SS 304/316). The EPPB-TWI-MOD3 is suitable for Class I, II and III flammable facilities and environments. The 3-pole, explosion proof isolator is rated 400V AC three phase 50 Hz (400 amps max). Operators are provided access to an external handle for control of the non-fused disconnect switch. Individual terminal blocks allow incoming wiring up to 300mm² to be connected to the terminal blocks, pass through the isolator, and line-out be connected to the secondary side of the isolator. Phase barriers separate the in/out connections between each set of terminal blocks. A visible nameplate is available, which contains operational warnings and the tag number. The entire assembly is mounted to an aluminum C channel to provide rigidity. Internal wiring is not included. Seal offs are factory installed, but not sealed. Sealing compound and packing fiber is included for field sealing after installation. The explosion proof isolator is housed in a copper-free aluminum enclosure, with a powder coated finish. For protection in rugged environments, the unit is NEMA (3, 4, 4X) and IP66 rated. Hardware components are made out of stainless steel 304 (plugs) and stainless steel 316 (breather, nameplate). Wiring/Mounting: The EPPB-TWI-MOD3 comes with terminal blocks for completing connections to the unit. Access to conduit openings can be found throughout the explosion proof power distribution box. Operators may mount the ATEX-rated isolator unit using a sturdy rail mounting plate. Applications: Hazardous locations, combustible facilities, electrical disconnection, electrical isolation, maintenance, repair, power distribution and more. |
