| The EXP-LED-402-FFHL Intrinsically Safe LED Spotlight for Fireman Helmet from Larson Electronics is designed to protect firefighters by providing illumination in Class I, Divisions 1 & 2 and Class II, Divisions 1 & 2 hazardous locations. The heavy-duty helmet accessory is capable of illuminating distances up to 564` (high beam setting). Running on 4 AA batteries, this battery-powered unit features an aluminum heat sink and a lockable on/off switch to prevent unwanted activation in hazardous locations. The essential fireman accessory offers intense illumination during operation in hazardous locations, which includes gas processing facilities and agricultural sites. The portable lighting gear supports the following beam settings: low or high. In low beam mode, the unit emits 31 lumens of white light, reaching 278` with a runtime of 9.15 hours. In high beam mode, the unit emits 120 lumens of white light, reaching 564` with a runtime of 6 hours. Weighing 1 lb, this helmet light is extremely lightweight. Operators may use a fastener to lock the switch, ensuring that the attached light remains off in hazardous locations. The handheld fireman helmet spotlight is supported by a sturdy clip-on mount located on the right side of the helmet. Operators can easily access the light for toggling, positioning and more. The spotlight is also removable, allowing the component to be used as a standalone, portable spotlight. The EXP-LED-402-FFHL comes with several safety features for use in rugged, unpredictable hazardous locations. An aluminum heat sink improves heat dissipation during operation, while reducing the possibility of malfunction from overheating. A valve design prevents the buildup of hydrogen gas. This intrinsically safe unit is ATEX/IECEx approved and IP67 waterproof with a T4 temperature code. A high impact lens cover protects the LED chip from debris and rough handling. To prevent accidental dropping the unit comes with a non-slip handle.
