Made in the USA The EPL-TL-2X10W-C-EXWR Explosion Proof LED Signal Light simplifies traffic routing and process management while increasing worksite safety with a side by side lamp configuration and the inclusion of a wireless explosion proof remote control. This LED signal light and remote package is designed to provide safe, reliable signaling and to give operators the freedom and mobility to monitor traffic and processes more effectively. This Class I Divisions 1 & 2 light unit is ideal for routing traffic at industrial refueling stations and as a manufacturing status indication signal. Light Features: The EPL-TL-2X10W-C-EXWR Explosion Proof LED Signal Light simplifies traffic routing and process management while increasing worksite safety with a side by side lamp configuration and the inclusion of a wireless explosion proof remote control. Separate lamp design provides a more straightforward, clearly noticeable signal than the traditional stack light formation while the wireless remote allows operators to move about the worksite to more closely monitor traffic and processes. This mobility increases worksite safety by allowing hazards to be detected more quickly by the signal operator, creating a faster response time to potential dangers. Likewise, mobile monitoring produces a more efficient traffic and/or process flow. This lamp is standardly configured with a side by side red and green lamp setup. To switch between signal colors, the operator simply presses the wireless remote control push button. Unlike traditional indicator lamps that use a colored globe with low color temperature incandescent lamps, this explosion proof LED stack light incorporates a clear glass globe and colored LED lamps. By utilizing colored LEDs instead of tinted lenses or globes, the total visibility and light output is increased when compared to traditional colored lamps. The EPL-TL-2X10W-C-EXWR signal light and wireless remote are ruggedly built to endure harsh conditions and heavy duty use while providing safe, dependable service to operators. The light housings are constructed with a polyester powder coated copper free aluminum casting that can withstand 1490 pounds PSI hydrostatic pressure, and the Pyrex globes are protected from vibrations and impacts by an aluminum cage guard. The mounting plate is constructed of non-sparking, copper free aluminum and can be custom built to customer specifications. Custom Configurations: Please note, the color choices and light configuration of this unit can be customized to your requirements. In addition to steady burn or strobing LED lamps, we offer a large assortment of lamp color options including red, green, blue, amber, purple, and white LED lamps. These stack lights can also be configured with audible horns. Contact us for special configurations. Commonly used color codes for indicators:
  • Red: Stop / Failure conditions, such as an emergency stop or machine fault
  • Yellow: Caution / Warnings, such as over-temperature or over-pressure conditions
  • Green: Go / Normal machine or process operation
  • Blue: External help request / Operator/Supervisor required / Maintenance personnel assistance required
  • White: User-defined conditions specific to application and environment
LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life. LED lights run at significantly cooler temperatures than traditional metal halide and high pressure sodium lights and contain no harmful gases, vapors, or mercury, making them both safer and more energy efficient. No extra energy is wasted in cooling enclosed work areas due to external heat emissions from bulb type lights, and the operator risks associated with traditional lighting methods, such as accidental burns and exposure to hazardous substances contained in the glass bulbs, are eliminated. Solid state LED lighting is also safer for the environment as LEDs are 100% recyclable. And recycling simultaneously reduces operating costs by eliminating the need for the expensive special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps. Mounting: Mounting is provided by a heavy gauge aluminum back plate fabricated from copper free aluminum with four predrilled holes designed to be bolted to walls, ceilings, and flat surfaces for permanent and secure attachment. Power/Wiring: The EPL-TL-2X10W-C-EXWR is available in 120-277V AC for use with standard voltages or 11/24V DC for low voltage. Line-in supply power is provided by 10` of 16/3 AWG SOOW cable.
