This 300-watt unit features a UVC induction lamp with a 360° beam angle configuration. Powered via an electromagnet to reduce the risk of gas leaks associated with fluorescent lights, the food-safe luminary comes with a weatherproof (not submersible) remote ballast that operates on 120-240V AC, 50/60 Hz and a high temperature chemical resistant cord between the lamp and ballast.

The FRL-IDC-WP-300W-UVC-SPF-HTC-XB.WP is a powerful induction sanitation lamp that is suitable for germicidal illumination in extreme environments. This 300-watt lamp is fully submersible and provides UVC output within the 200nm - 280nm range. During use, the waterproof unit emits UV light with a 360° beam angle in a flood beam configuration. This mercury-based germicidal lamp operates on 120-240V AC, 50/60 Hz (ballast voltage) and does not contain electrodes. The food-safe lamp has a 100,000-hour useful lifespan, making the unit a long-lasting solution in work sites. Designed for extreme environments, this submersible UV lamp can withstand temperatures up to 300°F/150°C.
A durable FEP coating makes the lamp shatter resistant and provides protection from impacts. Should the bulb break during an emergency, the internal contents and glass will remain trapped inside the unit. This coating adds an extra layer of safety for workers and customers alike. Operation: The FRL-IDC-WP-300W-UVC-SPF-HTC-XB.WP should only be used in non-occupied areas. The UVC radiation produced by this fixture is not safe for skin or eyes. These fixtures should also be set up on a separate circuit from other lighting. It is also advised to use a control circuit that incorporates a motion sensor with groupings of fixtures. This adds a level of safety because the lights will turn off if someone enters the area while the lights are on.
This UV lamp is a Risk Group 3 UV product. UV radiation from the unit can damage the skin and eyes without proper protection. Operators should avoid exposure to the eyes and skin when the unit is unshielded (for use in enclosed environments only). In the event of lamp breakage, it is recommended to ventilate the room for 30 minutes and clean the area with gloves (not a vacuum cleaner). Contents should be stored in a sealed plastic bag and brought to a waste/recycling facility.
