| Made in Texas The GALD-48-2XPNL-C-OXM-R2Â from Larson Electronics is a General Area LED Backlit Signal Light that provides operators with a clean room approved backlit LED light to signal certain conditions of the work area. The GALD-48-2XPNL-C-OXM-R2Â is backlit for outstanding visibility and is equipped with a green "OK" signal on the left side and a red "low oxygen" signal on the right side. The GALD-48-2XPNL-C-OXM-R2Â is contained within a low profile housing, is NRTL certified to UL 508A, and operates on 120-240 V AC. *Please note that oxygen sensors are NOT included and must be provided by the operator.* Each sign on the GALD-48-2XPNL-C-OXM-R2Â is backlit by 3,000 lumens of high-intensity LED light which ensures that operators in the vicinity of the light will easily be able to tell if one of the signs is currently lit. Each sign also features a separate control wire for independent on/off control of sign. In the default configuration, the GALD-48-2XPNL-C-OXM-R2Â glows green on the left side when the environment is safe or "OK" to be in and glows red on the right side when low oxygen levels are detected. Custom colors and sign phrases are available upon request for additional applications. The GALD-48-2XPNL-C-OXM-R2Â general area LED backlit signal light is sealed and rated for FS 209E and ISO 14644 cleanroom applications and is approved for use within clean rooms and other areas that require little or no contamination within the work environment. The polycarbonate lens is gasketed and the back of the fixture is also gasketed for wall mount sealing. Two 3/4" NPT hubs allow operators to bring conduit to the fixture. The LEDs in this general area clean room approved backlit LED light are Cree LEDs that have been chosen for their high lumen per watt ratio and extreme long life. These Cree LEDs provide over 125 lumens per watt output and have a 70% lumen retention at 50,000 hours, giving them better efficiency and operational life than comparable LEDs. Each LED module can produce up to 3000 lumens while drawing only 24 watts, for a maximum of 6000 lumens at 48 watts when both sides are illuminated. LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life. LED lights run at significantly cooler temperatures than traditional metal halide and high pressure sodium lights and contain no harmful gases, vapors, or mercury, making them both safer and more energy efficient. No extra energy is wasted in cooling enclosed work areas due to external heat emissions from bulb type lights, and the operator risks associated with traditional lighting methods, such as accidental burns and exposure to hazardous substances contained in the glass bulbs, are eliminated. In addition, LEDs are also safer for the environment as they are 100% recyclable, which eliminates the need for costly special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps. Voltage/Power: The GALD-48-2XPNL-C-OXM-R2Â operates on 120-240 V AC voltage. This clean room LED signal light is designed to be hardwired to power. Each side of the signal light features a seperate control wire for independent on/off operation of each side of the light fixture. Housing: The housing for the GALD-48-2XPNL-C-OXM-R2Â is constructed from strong and durable steel with a white powder coated finish. The flat lens is built from polycarbonate. The housing for this LED clean room backlit signal light is approved for clean rooms and is NRTL certified to UL 508A standards. Applications: ISO 14644 and FS-209E clean room applications that require little to no contamination including but not limited to medical applications, pharmaceutical, laboratories, and any other indoor applications that require ample lighting with little to no contamination within the work area atmosphere. |
