| The Larson Electronics GAU-HB-100L-LED-WP-DIMM-DCM-GL-480V is an LED High Bay light fixture with 0-10V dimming capability, and provides operators with a powerful and energy efficient alternative to traditional general area luminaries. LED technology and light weight design makes this lamp an excellent energy efficient upgrade option for bulky and high maintenance cost fixtures. This 500 watt LED high bay light fixture provides 70,000 lumens of high quality light and is ideal for use in warehouses, garages, production lines and anywhere an effective and efficient general area lighting solution is needed. A borosilicate lens protects the LED light assembly and the aluminum alloy body reduces weight compared to larger metal halide and high pressure sodium fixtures. The lens has a wide dispersion angle of 120 degrees. LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life. LED lights run at significantly cooler temperatures than traditional metal halide and high pressure sodium lights and contain no harmful gases, vapors, or mercury, making them both safer and more energy efficient. No extra energy is wasted in cooling enclosed work areas due to external heat emissions from bulb type lights, and the operator risks associated with traditional lighting methods, such as accidental burns and exposure to hazardous substances contained in the glass bulbs, are eliminated. In addition, LEDs are also safer for the environment as they are 100% recyclable, which eliminates the need for costly special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps. This LED light operates on 480VAC @ 60Hz and is aproved for use in ambient temperatures up to +65°C. The aluminum body features a white powder coat. Combined with the boroscilicate glass lens, IP66 rating, and LED luminaries, this light has excellent durability and resistance to vibration and impacts. The LED light fixture produces 70,000 lumens of light with a color temperature of 4000K and a color rendering index of 70, which produces colors and details much more accurately than high pressure sodium or mercury vapor luminaries. The LEDs used in this light use less energy and create less heat which reduces energy costs by lowering the amount of electricity needed to both illuminate and cool large areas. Dimming: This LED light fixture features 0-10V dimming capabilities. This gives operators the ability to manually adjust the brightness of the LED lamp quickly and easily. The 0-10V dimming allows for adjustments to fit the brightness needs of any lighting situation. A 0-10V dimmable light works through the use of a DC control signal that ranges between zero and ten volts. The basic idea is that at 10 volts of input the light is at its brightest level with 0 volts being the lowest possible dimness setting. The smooth, continuous and flicker-free dimming of a 0-10V dimmable LED light is ideal for a wide range of different lighting applications. Mounting: The GAU-HB-100L-LED-WP-DIMM-DCM-GL-480V is mounted with a connected pendant mount. Wiring: The GAU-HB-100L-LED-WP-DIMM-DCM-GL-480V comes with 10 feet of 480V rated cord with a twist lock cord cap. The unit is also equipped with a half loop safety hook with a 3/4" female NPT, set screw and internal wireway. |
