Durability/Mounting: The HAL-36-25W-LED-TXF-50C hazardous area LED light is constructed of extruded aluminum with a tough powder coat finish for high strength and durability. The housing is IP54 rated, providing limited ingress protection against dusts, and basic protection against splashing water such as rain. This design is weather resistant, suitable for indoor or outdoor applications, and ideal for areas where wetness or dusty conditions are commonly encountered. The LEDs in this linear light are Cree X-Lamp XR-E units that have been chosen for their high lumen per watt ratio and extreme long life. These Cree LEDs provide over 90 lumens per watt output and have a 70% lumen retention at 50,000 hours, giving them better efficiency and operational life than comparable LEDs. Mounting for this unit is provided by two standard adjustable end brackets that allow operators to mount the light to flat surfaces and then adjust the light 170° vertically for the best placement. The entire assembly weighs 2.1 lbs and measures 35.88 inches in length, 2.68 inches wide and 1.69 inches deep, making it ideal for mounting in areas where space is limited and a low profile fixture is more readily installed. Wiring/Power: These hazardous location LED lights are equipped with 50` of 16/3 SOOW cable between the light and the explosion proof inline stepdown transformer. An additional 5` 16/3 SOOW cable between the transformer and cord cap allows operators to make secure electrical connections to explosion proof outlets. This unit is terminated in an explosion proof NEMA 5-15, 15 amp, 125V rated cord cap for 120V configurations or a NEMA 6-20, 20 amp, 250V rated cord cap for 240V confirgurations. These lights operate from 120-240 volt AC current at 25 watts drawing 0.21 amps on 120 VAC and 0.11 amps on 240 VAC and are stepped down to 24V DC. Versatility: The HAL-36-25W-LED-TXF-50C is ETL approved for Class 1 Division 2 groups A,B,C and D locations. This unit carries an IP54 water resistant rating ensuring protection against limited ingress from dusts, dirt, and basic protection against light water spray landing directly on the fixture. This light is ideal for indoor or outdoor applications and industrial operations with hazardous location classification where dusty or wet conditions are commonly encountered. | ||||
