100 watt halogen light with cast aluminum housing and high output, elongated tungsten filament bulb produces light output that is 45% brighter than standard halogen light fixtures with a standard H3 bulb.  The heavy duty cast aluminum housing and stainless steel stud mount provides long term durability even when the fixture is hit with limbs, branches and other obstructions.  This fixture provides more light than a standard halogen light, while priced like a standard halogen light.  For operators that need a bright, durable light and don’t have the budget for HID lights, this is an ideal compromise.  The bulb in this halogen light fixture is built in the same way as our HID bulbs.  This includes a larger bulb base, longer glass capsule, and thicker, longer tungsten filament.   Most halogen lights use the standard H3 bulb, which is about 1/3 of the size of our 100 Watt tungsten filament bulb.  To some extent, we have gone ‘old school’ with the filament, as tungsten was the standard for the higher wattage high bay lights that run on AC power.  While cheaper alloys exist for use as filaments, tungsten delivers the most output per watt of any filament material.  By elongating the filament, it generates more light.  By thickening the filament, it becomes more resistant to vibration and has significantly longer life hours.  Dimensions:  4.25" Deep  x  5.13" Wide x 5.62" Tall Lens diameter:  5.13" Weight:  2 pounds Mounting Depth:  2" Amperage Draw:  8.33amps Input Voltage: 12 Volts DC Housing:  Die-Cast Aluminum Housing Color:  Black Bulb: 100 watt Halogen Beam Pattern:  Long range spot or soft wide flood configuration available Voltage:  12 and 24 volt configuration available Mount:  3/8 inch stainless steel stud mount SHIPS AS A PAIR OF LIGHTS
