Made in the USA The HAL-TL-2X10W-C-MOD1 Hazardous Location LED Traffic Light from Larson Electronics is chemical resistant and approved for use in wet locations and marine environments. Equipped with two LED lamps and a relay control box, this unit is designed for use in industrial refueling stations and areas where trucks and equipment pick up or deposit hazardous materials. The powerful and durable HAL-TL-2X10W-C-MOD1 explosion proof LED light from Larson Electronics is an ideal indicator lighting solution for industrial refueling stations and areas where trucks and equipment pick up or deposit hazardous materials. This explosion proof fixture is configured for dual color output (one lamp each color) in the following options: red, white, blue, amber, green, or purple. The LED lamps in this traffic light are 10 watts each and offer cool operation and clean bright output that surpasses that of 100 watt incandescent indicator lamps. This hazardous area LED light has a -29C to 40C (-29F to 104F) operating temp range. The HAL-TL-2X10W-C-MOD1 is Class 1, Division 2 approved, carries UL 1570/1571 and UL 595 compliance, and is waterproof and suitable for spray down areas and marine locations. Power is provided by two cords equipped with straight blade plugs to allow independent operation of each lamp, making this unit ideal for fuel depots where stop and go indicators are necessary. This LED light carries UL and CSA certification, USCG acceptance, NTRL Listing for wet locations in any orientation, UL595 approval for marine environments, and NEMA 4X compliance for hose down areas. Explosion Proof Relay Box: This explosion proof unit is equipped with four relays (Channel 1-4), which connect to a customer-provided control station. Two of the relays are designed to control the lights, and the other two relays are for customer-provided equipment. Powered by a 24V supply, the relays are housed inside a durable explosion proof enclosure.

LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life. No extra energy is wasted in cooling enclosed work areas due to external heat emissions from bulb type lights, and the operator risks associated with traditional lighting methods, such as accidental burns and exposure to hazardous substances contained in the glass bulbs, are eliminated. In addition, LEDs are also safer for the environment as they are 100% recyclable, which eliminates the need for costly special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps. Mounting: Mounting is provided by a heavy gauge aluminum base with four predrilled holes designed to be bolted to walls and flat surfaces for permanent and secure attachment.
