Made in Texas The HAL-WPLED-150W from Larson Electronics is a 72 W Hazardous Location LED Wall Pack Light that is rated for Class I Division 2 Groups A, B, C, & D hazardous areas and is a direct replacement for 400W metal halide lights. This LED wallpack light is UL 1598 and UL 844 rated for use in hazardous areas and offers operators 7,027 lumens of high-intensity LED illumination. The HAL-WPLED-150W C1D2 hazardous area LED wall pack light operates on voltages ranging from 120-277 V AC and the housing features a 1/2" hub on each side to allow operators to bring conduit and power to the unit. These LED wall pack light fixtures boast 7,027 lumens of bright LED light with a color temperature of 5000K and CRI of 65 while drawing only 72 W. The HAL-WPLED-150W utilize Cree XHP35 LEDs for superior illumination within hazardous areas. Cree Specific: This lamp uses Cree XHP35 LED units that have been chosen for their high lumen per watt ratio and extreme longevity. These Cree LEDs generate a robust 97 lumens per watt effective lumen output and have a 70% lumen retention at 100,000 hours, giving them better efficiency and operational life than traditional light sources. LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life. LED lights run at significantly cooler temperatures than traditional metal halide and high pressure sodium lights and contain no harmful gases, vapors, or mercury, making them both safer and more energy efficient. No extra energy is wasted in cooling enclosed work areas due to external heat emissions from bulb type lights, and the operator risks associated with traditional lighting methods, such as accidental burns and exposure to hazardous substances contained in the glass bulbs, are eliminated. In addition, LEDs are also safer for the environment as they are 100% recyclable, which eliminates the need for costly special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps. This LED light fixture features 0-10V dimming capabilities. This gives operators the ability to manually adjust the brightness of the LED lamp quickly and easily. The 0-10V dimming allows for adjustments to fit the brightness needs of any lighting situation. A 0-10V dimmable light works through the use of a DC control signal that ranges between zero and ten volts. The basic idea is that at 10 volts of input the light is at its brightest level with 0 volts being the lowest possible dimness setting. The smooth, continuous and flicker-free dimming of a 0-10V dimmable LED light is ideal for a wide range of different lighting applications. Housing: The housing on the HAL-WPLED-150W offers a pleasing aesthetic appearance while also holding up to mounting in C1D2 hazardous locations. Constructed from cast aluminum with low copper content (0.6% CU content), the IP55-rated low profile housing on the HAL-WPLED-150W features a durable gray finish for both a durable and attractive look. A specular aluminum precision formed reflector offers optimal performance and greatly reduces any lost or spilled light. The housing also features a 1/2" conduit hub on each side and a hinged front door for easy access and maintenance. Fully enclosed and gasketed, the housing on the HAL-WPLED-150W is suitable for use in areas with 40°C ambient temperatures, has a thermal and impact resistant prismatic borosilicate glass lens and NEMA ratings of 3 and 4X. |
