Featuring lightweight yet ultra rugged design and balanced, ergonomic handling, the HL-85-CPR-D-1227 halogen handheld spotlight with inline dimmer from Larson Electronics is the perfect fit for the traditionalist looking for a high voltage spotlight. This unit uses one 100W halogen bulb and an advanced reflector and lens configuration to generate 1,800 lumens with a beam reach of over 1,600 feet. Equipped with a 120/277V AC vehicle plug, this IP65 rated waterproof spotlight can be plugged into a standard outlet, and is ideal for hunting, camping, marine and boating use as well as for first responders and emergency services. This high voltage spotlight operates on 120/277V AC @ 50/60 Hz and features a waterproof power converter that converts the voltage to 12VDC, allowing users to use standard AC power to operate equipment that requires 12 Volt DC. Light Features: The HL-85-CPR-D-1227 high voltage handheld spotlight delivers an impressive 1,800 lumens while drawing 100 watts of energy. With 7 million candlepower and a 5" reflector, this spotlight carves a path through the darkness with a beam length of over 1,600 feet. The unit uses a 5" aluminum reflector and a halogen bulb created for fast heat dissipation.

The reflector of the HL-85-CPR-D-1227 is designed with a unique shape and shallow contour and then paired with a convex lens and inset lens position to efficiently capture and project a focused beam of light while reducing the light spillage and waste that is common with many spotlights. This efficient design also reduces casting, a phenomenon that occurs when wasted light "spills" around the light source. Often times, when surrounded by water, snow or other reflective surfaces, this light spillage prevents the human eye from adjusting properly and seeing objects at a distance. As much as 50% of the light can be lost. However, with the HL-85-CPR-D-1227 spotlight configuration, 90% of the emitted light is captured and focused, clearly and sharply illuminating objects all the way to the end of the beam reach. The HL-85-CPR-D-1227 handheld spotlight with inline dimmer features a lightweight yet tough and durable construction. The ABS polycarbonate body and lens provide impact and shatter resistance, enabling this light to take the toughest of abuse in the field and on the jobsite. While the HL-85-CPR-D-1227 is built to withstand rugged use and harsh outdoor conditions, comfort and ease of operation haven`t been sacrificed. The nylon handle has a no-slip textured surface that ensures a firm grip even in wet conditions. The booted push button is conveniently placed to allow operators easy forefinger access to the switch for quick on/off action. The ergonomic handle is 4.5 inches long, 1.5 inches deep and 5/8 inch thick and 3/8-16 inch brass nut fixture embedded in the base of the handle allows operators to attach a magnetic base like our MM-2 or MM-5 to the light. This feature also allows the light to be mounted to a standard tripod as well. The HL-85-CPR-D-1227 spotlight is designed for easy field maintenance with simple internal connectors accessed through the snap in base at the bottom of the handle and a lamp housing that is easily removed to access the bulb and wiring. No tools are required to change any part of the light including the bulb.

Wiring/Plug: This high voltage halogen handheld spotlight fixture is equipped with a 20 foot of 16/2 chemical and abrasion resistant SOOW cord between the dimmer switch and the inline power supply, that is fitted with an industrial grade cord cap for easy connection to common wall outlets. Plug options include standard 5-15 15 amp straight blade plug for 110V wall outlets with ground, standard 6-15 15 amp straight blade plug for 220-240V wall outlets with ground, NEMA L5-15 15 amp twist lock plug for 125V twist lock outlets, NEMA L6-15 15 amp twist lock plug for 240V twist lock outlets, British BS1363 13 amp fused 3-blade plug for United Kingdom outlets, or a two pin 16 amp rated Schuko plug with ground contact and socket for European outlets up to 250V. Alternatively, we can provide flying leads with no plug for hard wire applications or for operators who prefer to wire in user provided cord caps. Please choose pigtail option below for flying leads with no plug. Inline Dimmer Switch: The HL-85-CPR-D-1227 features a pulse width modulator, which functions as an inline dimmer, to regulate the voltage and control the brightness of the LED using an easy to use dial. This dimmer produces 135Hz and is equipped with male and female Deutscch connectors. The use of this "dimmer" switch allows operators to regulate energy usage and change the brightness of the handheld light for different applications. Power: The HL-85-CPR-D-1227 includes a watt converter that allows this high voltage spotlight to operate on 120/277V AC. The wateproof converter provides a safe and effective way for users to tap into and utilize common 100 to 277 Volt AC power sources and convert this current to 12 Volts DC or 24 Volts DC for use with equipment that requires 12/24 volt DC electrical power. This power converter features an IP67 rated waterproof design, making it suitable for indoor or outdoor use and includes integral short circuit and overload protection that will shut down the unit in case of faults and overloads to protect the unit and connected equipment from damage. Versatility: The entire unit weighs only 13 oz. the adjustable light head allows this unit to be used as both a spotlight and a flood light, saving space and time in the field, and allows operators to configure this light to their application with each use. The handle is ergonomically designed to fit the contours of your hand for a comfortable grip. This unit is ideal for hunting as well as military, security and law enforcement use and any application that requires an extremely durable and effective source of portable illumination.
