This device is compatible with 250V AC/110V DC and contains NO and NC contacts. The IP66-rated double push button is protected by a non-sparking housing. PLEASE NOTE: The HLSW-AE.EX series of explosion proof switches, operators, buttons, lights, and dials are certified to European Union (ATEX) and International (IEC Ex) standards and are approved for installing in these locations. The HLSW-AE.EX-PMU-PB-16A-MS-2X.RG-C3-R-W1-G1 is designed for use in Zones 1/2 and Zones 21/22 rated combustible locations. This double-push button unit is rated for 250V AC at 16 amps and 110V DC at 1 amp. Featuring more than 100,000 operating cycles, the device operates with momentary action for both red and green push buttons (maintained action is available at an additional cost). This push button can be added to custom control station builds that contain pilot lights, other push buttons, emergency stop, selector switches, sensors and more. The weatherproof unit contains (1) normally open and (1) normally closed contacts. A sturdy lockout component for a single push button deters tampering. This component consists of a metal hinged plate, which covers the green push button, and a padlock (two keys included). With this lockout configuration, only operators holding keys can provide approval or start the connected device. The red push button is always exposed, allowing any individual in the facility to stop the connected machine (for example, during emergency situations or presence of abnormal conditions). This explosion proof push button is constructed of non-sparking materials. The IP66-rated device is suitable for ATEX/IECEx rated work sites with operating temperatures ranging between -40°C and +50°C. There are no labels or marking on this push button. We offer both custom labels (upon request) and the following selection of markings at an additional cost: On, Off, Start, Stop, I, O, Forward, Reverse and directional arrows. Wiring: This non-illuminated device is equipped with 2.5mm terminals for wiring connections. Maximum outer cable diameter range for the hub is 5.5mm to 13mm. Mounting: The HLSW-AE.EX-PMU-PB-16A-MS-2X.RG-C3-R-W1-G1 is compatible with panel mounting applications. Applications: Petroleum refineries, chemical and petrochemical plants, paint spray booths, food manufacturing buildings, agricultural operations, grain storage centers, industrial equipment and more. |
