| The HLSW-CS-2X2PSW-6XMS from Larson Electronics is a Non-Metallic Explosion Proof Switch for hazardous environments. This ATEX-certified unit features two, 2-position selector switches and six momentary push buttons. The assembly supports a din rail mount design and is constructed of an impact resistant glass reinforced non-metallic material with silicone gaskets. The HLSW-CS-2X2PSW-6XMS is suitable for cutting-edge control of motors in rugged and flammable work sites. This unit consists of two, 2-position selector switches (black) and six momentary push buttons (green). The ATEX-rated assembly, which features a 690V AC voltage rating and a 2-HP horsepower rating, is capable of handling 20 amps. Suitable for ambient temperatures ranging between -50°C to +60°C, this IP66-rated unit is constructed of non-metallic glass that is also impact resistant, with f1 UV resistance and a flame retardant rating of V-0. The two, 2-position selector switches feature silver alloy contacts with gold flashing. The housing on the switches is black and the switch itself is also black which offers plenty of contrast against the silver legend plate that is marked on/off for easy visibility of the switch and its current position. The switch components have one normally closed contact block and one normally open contact block. Normally closed is a contact that flows current in its normal state and normally open is a contact that does not flow current in its normal state. In the case of this switch, the normally closed contact would be labeled as "ON" because the circuit is "closed" or allowing current to flow while the normally open contact would be labeled as "OFF" because the circuit is "open" or not allowing current to flow. For the six momentary push button components, the housing is black and the button itself is green which offers plenty of contrast for easy visibility of the button. Wiring/Mounting: The HLSW-CS-2X2PSW-6XMS features silicone gasketing throughout and a 1/2" NPT, hub. This explosion proof switch supports din rail mounting configurations commonly found in industrial equipment racks. Operators can use din rail mounting to maximize space inside control cabinets. Applications: Manufacturing plants, oil refineries, wastewater treatment facilities, motor control, agricultural sites, grain storage centers, woodshops, food production buildings, chemical processing, flammable work sites, textile operations and more.  |
