| The HLSW-SS-SW20-2PSW-LCK-OF from Larson Electronics is a stainless steel maintained 2-position contact switch that is rated for Class I Division 2 Groups A, B, C & D, Class II, Division 2, Groups E, F & G and Class III hazardous environments. This ATEX certified 2-position selector switch has a din rail mount design and is constructed of an impact resistant glass reinforced stainless steel material with silicone gaskets. The HLSW-SS-SW20-2PSW-LCK-OF has a black housing color with a black two-way switch and boasts a compact size for convenient mounting and use. This Class I Division 2 Groups A, B, C & D rated stainless steel maintained contact switch is designed for din rail mounting. It is ideal for mounting and use in petroleum refineries, chemical plants, petrochemcial plants and other facilities where similar conditions exist. The HLSW-SS-SW20-2PSW-LCK-OF has explosion protected contact blocks that are rated for voltages up to 690V AC, is capable of handling 20 amps for switching duty and has a horsepower rating of 2 HP. This 2-position selector switch also features silver alloy contacts with gold flashing. This stainless steel maintained contact switch has an ambient operating temperature of -50°C to +60°C and can be used in conjunction with motor starters or contactors for remote operation of motors. The HLSW-SS-SW20-2PSW-LCK-OF C1D2 stainless steel 2-position selector maintained contact switch features a stainless steel housing that is constructed of a PA6 glass reinforced antistatic material that is impact resistant, f1 UV resistant and has a flame retardant rating of V-0. The housing on this switch is black and the switch itself is also black which offers plenty of contrast against the silver legend plate that is marked on/off for easy visibility of the switch and its current position. This switch has a 3/4" NPT SS hub and features silicone gasketing throughout. The HLSW-SS-SW20-2PSW-LCK-OF has one normally open contact block and one normally closed contact block. Normally closed is a contact that flows current in its normal state and normally open is a contact that does not flow current in its normal state. In the case of this switch, the normally closed contact would be labeled as "ON" because the circuit is "closed" or allowing current to flow while the normally open contact would be labeled as "OFF" because the circuit is "open" or not allowing current to flow.  |
