This LED flood light is weatherproof and produces 1,800 lumens while drawing only 10 watts of power @ 0.83 amps from a 12 volt electrical system. This light runs on 12V DC and provides a highly durable and compact lighting solution that is ideal for military, law enforcement, commercial, security and hunting applications.
The HML-10-LED-FL handheld flood light from Larson Electronics produces a wide flood beam of bright light. Using our latest 18 watt PAR36 solid state LED bulbs, the HML-10-LED-FL draws only 0.83 amps on 12 volts DC. The HML-10-LED-FL is constructed of rubber coated weatherproof aluminum housing, able to withstand the effects of wet environments, conditions and applications. This particular unit is equipped with a 3.25 inch diameter, 100lb grip magnetic base. The operator can use the reverse pistol grip handle to position the beam. The tension style hinge brackets will then keep the light in the desired position until the operator moves it again.
The HML-10-LED-FL is an LED equipped version of our found in the Escalation of Force Kit used by US Armed Forces. These high powered flood lights are used to illuminate the area in front of a vehicle, or around the vehicle. The 100 pound grip magnet base holds the light in place on protective barriers and gun turrets on the military HUMVEE, even under the most aggressive road and off-road conditions.
LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life.

In addition, LEDs are also safer for the environment as they are 100% recyclable, which eliminates the need for costly special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps.
