Buy American Compliant The HUL-P10WR-DM-ILS-1227 from Larson Electronics is a Dimmable LED Spotlight that is rugged and effective and designed to provide users with a powerful, durable, and easy to use source of reliable light. This spotlight has a 10 watt LED bulb which produces a light beam approximately 280' long. This spotlight includes 2.5 feet of 16/2 SOOW straight cord between the spotlight and PWM dimmer switch, 20 feet of 16/3 cord between the dimmer switch and the transformer, a 120-277 V AC inline waterproof transformer, and 5 feet of 16/3 SOOW cable terminated with a general area cord cap for easy connection to household outlets and equipment power sources. The spotlight on this unit produces 860 lumens of bright light while drawing only 10 watts. A single Cree XLamp MC-E® 10 watt LED producing 860 lumens is combined with high purity optics to produce a 20 degree spread spot beam approximately 280' long by 60' in width. We also offer floodlight versions with a 40 degree beam spread to provide more light over a larger area nearer the fixture, making flood versions ideal for use as work lights. This particular unit is ultra compact at only 2 inches in OD (outer diameter) by 2 inches tall, by 2.5 inches deep, which makes it ideal for applications where electrical power and mounting space is at a premium. This spotlight is built for durability and comfort with an impact resistant housing, an ergonomically designed 5 inch tall polycarbonate handle that matches the contours of your hand, and a light head that can be adjusted vertically. The 5.5 inch diameter lamp and reflector assembly is protected by a polycarbonate lens that is sealed against water and dust to provide an IP68 rating and weatherproof protection. This light includes an inline transformer to allow operation with common 110 V AC wall plug current. The inline transformer is multi-voltage and operates on 110-277 volts AC 50/60Hz. However, the operator can remove the transformer and run this unit on any voltage from 12 to 32 volts. The HUL-P10WR-DM-ILS-1227 handheld spotlight draws 0.084 amps @ 120 V AC, and 0.84 amps @ 12 V DC.This spotlight is a powerful and rugged design ideal for use in hunting, utility, emergency, industrial/commercial and military/law enforcement applications.

LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life. LED lights run at significantly cooler temperatures than traditional metal halide and high pressure sodium lights and contain no harmful gases, vapors, or mercury, making them both safer and more energy efficient. No extra energy is wasted in cooling enclosed work areas due to external heat emissions from bulb type lights, and the operator risks associated with traditional lighting methods, such as accidental burns and exposure to hazardous substances contained in the glass bulbs, are eliminated. In addition, LEDs are also safer for the environment as they are 100% recyclable, which eliminates the need for costly special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps. Durability: As well as unparalleled heat control, the HUL-P10WR-DM-ILS-1227 from Larson Electronics also offers IP68 rated construction that is designed to withstand extremes of environmental and operating conditions. These units can withstand rapid temperature changes of -40 degrees Celsius to 85 degrees Celsius, are waterproof to three meters and resist ingress of dust, dirt and humidity. The housings are formed from extruded aluminum and the lenses are unbreakable polycarbonate. The Cree XLamp MC-E® LEDs offer resistance to shocks and vibrations and are rated at 70% lumen maintenance after 50,000 hours of use. Power: The HUL-P10WR-DM-ILS-1227 is equipped with both a dimmer switch and an on/off switch. The dimmer is a rotary dial that can adjust the brightness of the spotlight. Once the desired brightness level is found, operators can leave the dimmer in position and then use the on/off switch to power the light while retaining the same brightness setting. The on/off switch is of the toggle variety. Dimmer Information: The dimmer included with this unit is a Pulse Width Modulator Controller designed to dim the LED light of the HUL-P10WR-DM-ILS-1227. Basically, this is a voltage regulator for LED lights drawing 12 amps or less. PWM controllers are CPU controlled, digital alternatives to resistance based rheostats. This PWM controller has a rotating switch that enables the operator to control the brightness of the LED light. Thus, many operators will use this as a "dimmer" switch.
