| This unit is Made In USA - Manufactured in Texas The Larson Electronics IND-HR-UVC-EXS-R1-24-3L-120V-2X is an Escalator Handrail UV Sanitizer for busy locations and occupied areas. This 60-watt unit has three UV fluorescent lamps that provide germicidal UV-C output at a range of 280 nm - 200 nm (254 nm peak). Capable of sanitizing handrails of escalators and power walks that operate up to 200ft/min, the UV disinfection device is protected by a stainless steel enclosure. This sanitizer mounts on the exterior base of handrails, which offers peace of mind and confidence for people in the occupied area. *Please note: This product produces UV light. Make sure to follow all safety guidelines and protocols found in the user manual. UVC light in the proper setting kills up to 99.9% of viruses, mold, spores and bacteria. * The IND-HR-UVC-EXS-R1-24-3L-120V-2X sanitizes escalator handrails without contact and abrasive liquid cleaners using powerful UV technology. Equipped with three UV fluorescent lamps, the unit offers 9.1 watts of UV output per lamp, within the 200 nm to 280 nm UV-C range. Unlike UV LEDs that emit 276 nm to 283 nm, these germicidal fluorescent lights are optimized at 254 nm. The 254 nm band ensures maximum UV absorption during treatment. Sanitation using this UV-C wavelength with fluorescent lights has been tested extensively and is the current industry standard. Please note: This part # is for qty 2 rail cleaner. This solution is recommended for escalators and power walks that operate up to 200ft/min. With an expected lifespan of 8,000+ hours, the lights emit a flood beam pattern during UV treatment. This UV-C unit has a G13 medium bi-pin base that accept T8 UV bulbs. The lamps DO NOT produce ozone. All UV lamps are enclosed in a heavy-duty stainless steel enclosure, which allows the system to be used in busy locations without risk of UV exposure. For added safety, a purple indicator strip with a label displaying the phrase "Disinfected with UV Light" and a 24" x 12" vinyl banner (same phrase) are included with this sanitation unit. Voltage: The handrail sanitizer operates on 120V AC. Mount: The IND-HR-UVC-EXS-R1-24-3L-120V-2X mounts directly on the exterior base of the escalator handrail. This exterior mounting solution provides confidence for people using the escalator or power walk, knowing that the handrail is constantly being sanitized.
