With access to three UV lamps, this unit offers UV-C output at a range of 200nm - 280nm (253.7nm). The disinfection box holds up to 8 tablets or phones at a time and comes with a timer. *Please note: This product produces UV light. Make sure to follow all safety guidelines and protocols found in the user manual. UVC light in the proper setting kills up to 99.9% of viruses, mold, spores and bacteria. * The IND-TBL-BX-R1-UVC-3X-9W-12V is a powerful sanitation solution for industrial sites and commercial facilities. Equipped with three UVC fluorescent lamps, this system offers 7.2 watts of UV output, within the 200nm - 280nm UV-C range (253.7 nm). The lights have an expected lifespan of 8,000+ hours and emits a flood beam pattern. These lamps are arranged for maximum exposure. Inside the box, the UV system offers 360 degrees of coverage. The unit holds up to 8 tablets or phones per session (capable of holding an iPad Pro). With a recommended 25 minute exposure time for when at full capacity, multiple devices can be purchased to clean several tablets or phones at the same time. Single tablets can be cleaned in as little as 2 minutes, whereas a single phone can be cleaned in 1 minute. Operators may access a timer on the box to ensure the recommended duration of exposure (1-30 mins) is met every session. The UV light can disinfect over 99% of bacteria, viruses, kill 99% of viruses, bacteria, mold, and spores, mold and spores. This device is recommended for disinfecting compact tools and equipment on tables, desks, work stations and surfaces. Individuals may leave their electronics and personal devices (such as keys, cell phones, laptops, etc.) inside the box. After exposure, the devices can be used again immediately. Wiring: The IND-TBL-BX-R1-UVC-3X-9W-12V operates on 12V DC and comes with 10' SOOW cord and auto auxiliary plug for connection to cigarette outlets inside vehicles. Mount: This desktop sanitation device has a flat base for stand alone operation on flat surfaces, such as tables. Note on Environment: Sunlight and visible light fixtures do not impact the effectiveness of the disinfecting on this UVC sanitation product. Metal halide, high pressure sodium, fluorescent, and LED light fixtures can be left on. The UV radiation emitted from this product is not disrupted by any type of lighting in the environment. Put simply, NO it DOES NOT need to be dark in the area you plan to disinfect. The UV radiation is harmful to the eyes and skin, and that is why you should not be in the area while it is in operation.
