The Larson Electronics LEDFUL10-DL-RGBW-PM-KT.3X-WR-DNS-M1 Underwater Dock Light Package is an extremely efficient and versatile lighting solution for docks, walkways, cabin areas, stairs, vehicles and marine locations. The 75-watt lighting kit contains three LED lights, one control box, an external day/night sensor and a wireless remote. During operation, the system provides 6,000+ lumens of illumination. Constructed of bronze, the IP68 compliant LED lights cater to dock piling/pole mounting applications and are offered in full color RGBW.
The LEDFUL10-DL-RGBW-PM-KT.3X-WR-DNS-M1 is a dock light set for superior illumination around docks and marine structures. This 75-watt LED lighting package operates on low voltage 10-30V DC and provides 6,000+ lumens of total output. The dock light set includes three LED lights and one control box (up to 4 LED lights per system). Timed Toggled Protocol (TTP) enables the LED lamps to be controlled without external control boxes or special switches. These LED lights are offered in full color RGBW. An included external day/night sensor enables automatic light activation in low-light conditions and deactivation when light levels are sufficient in the area. A wireless remote with 100 feet of distance enables the following controls: bypass external sensor, activate sensor and manual on/off (no sensor).
Constructed of bronze for durability and corrosion resistance, the units are fully sealed, weatherproof, submersible to 6 feet and IP68 compliant.
Measuring only 3.85" in diameter and 0.71†in total thickness, the LED lights are very low profile and easy to mount unobtrusively.
LED Benefits:
Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life.
LED lights run at significantly cooler temperatures than traditional metal halide and high pressure sodium lights and contain no harmful gases, vapors, or mercury, making them both safer and more energy efficient. No extra energy is wasted in cooling enclosed work areas due to external heat emissions from bulb type lights, and the operator risks associated with traditional lighting methods, such as accidental burns and exposure to hazardous substances contained in the glass bulbs, are eliminated. In addition, LEDs are also safer for the environment as they are 100% recyclable, which eliminates the need for costly special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps.
Wiring:
Negative and positive leads power the LED lamps from a low voltage source
. During setup, electrical connections are passed through a conduit, which protects the wires from outdoor elements. All LED lights are connected via an included control box, which plugs into standard outlets.
Mounting:
Suitable for marine environments, the LEDFUL10-DL-RGBW-PM-KT.3X-WR-DNS-M1 can be mounted around square (up to 12" OD) or round (up to 14" OD) dock pilings and poles
. During installation, operators can secure the LED lights using an included PVC plastic zip-mounting component that wraps around the piling or pole.
