This IR LED board includes a high powered 3 watt LED emitter and LED driver. This infrared light produces a beam that can only be seen through the use of night vision goggles or equipment. The value in this IR LED fixture is in the power and form factor. This LED assembly draws only a 1/4 amp on 12 volts. A small profile, low power requirements, and high durability of LED technology makes these LED lights ideal for commercial use as well as a wide array of applications including but not limited to: military, industrial manufacturing, machine visioning and non destructive testing, security and law enforcement, and boating. |

As a result, many manufacturers reduce the output of their LEDs to reduce the amount of heat produced. Operators must supply their own heat sink to allow proper cooling of this infrared LED assembly. Voltage Control: These units are able to adjust input current to maintain the correct LED voltage levels regardless of input levels across a specific range. These LEDLB series LED lights can operate on current ranging from 9 to 42VDC without any modifications necessary as a result. This multi-voltage capability makes these units ideal for mobile and standalone applications such as those found on commercial boats, heavy equipment and vehicles where power systems don’t always operate with 12 volts and external generators, transformers or inverters are impractical. Options: These particular units are available in 750, 850 and 940nM wavelengths. 850nM is typically useful with older versions of night vision and commercially available security cameras and devices with night vision capability. These units are also available in spot or flood configurations to allow a tighter beam for longer range or a wider beam for illumination of larger areas closer to the fixture.
