| Made in the USA The Larson Electronics LM-10-5S-R Light Mast (Light Tower, Light Boom) provides a safe and effective way for operators to quickly deploy lights, security cameras and other equipment to elevations up to ten feet. This mast can be extended to 110 inches in total height, and includes a rotating base to allow mounted lights and equipment to be easily aimed in any direction regardless of mounting position. Larson Electronics’ telescoping steel light tower mast is designed to allow operators to quickly and safely deploy lighting and other electrical equipment in locations where this equipment must be elevated to heights up to 9 feet for effective application. This five section light boom can be extended to 9 feet for maximum area coverage and collapsed to 34 inches when not in use. The tower is constructed of square steel tubing with three sections of 34, 28, 22, 16 and 10 inches. The mast is elevated from the 34 inch collapsed position using an included 800 lb hand winch with 1/8 inch aircraft cable and extended to its full 9.16 foot height. A rotating mounting platform allows operators to rotate the entire tower on its base, providing an easy means of directing lights or other mounted equipment regardless of tower location. These light masts are typically mounted to trailers or other stable surfaces via a 12 inch square, ½ inch thick mounting base-plate which has been drilled to accept four mounting bolts (3/4 inch). This base-plate mount also includes a rotating axis which allows the entire tower to be rotated in both the folded down position and upright position. A 24 inch wide and 1/4 inch thick mounting plate is attached to the upper section of the mast to allow operators to easily and securely attach their desired fixtures. This light tower weighs approximately 280 lbs, can easily support and lift 150 lbs fixtures and when lowered to 34 inches can withstand winds up to 125 mph. The entire tower assembly is shipped via common freight carrier. Suggested Applications: Lighting and security camera deployment.
