Capable of collapsing to seven feet, this light tower features a rotating boom that allows for 360° of rotation and a removable mast head for storing mounted equipment when not in use. This light boom can be extended to 16' for maximum area coverage and collapsed to 7' for applications where a smaller footprint is required. This allows operators to collapse the mast and leave it in the upright position during transit if desired (depending on equipment mounted to the mast head). | Mast Controls: Network controls for the mast (up and down movement) is accessible using a web-based control panel. Compatible with HTTP, XML, or Modbus TCP/IP protocols, network configuration is accessible using web-based pages (no programming required). Operators can monitor or setup controls from a remote area using the internet or local IP network and any standard web browser. Functions and controls include: on/off, pulse and monitor. LED indicator lights on the device provide the real-time information about digital input voltage, relay coil, network status and network activity. Password protection for the setup page is available (10 characters maximum). Network Controller: The network controller is equipped with one optically-isolated digital input and one SPDT relay contact. Compatible with 9-28V DC, the unit features a 3-position removable relay (N, NO, NC), a 5-position removable power/inputs and an 8-pin RJ-45 port for network connections. Operators can mount the device on walls, surfaces or din rails for space-saving benefits. The LM series of towers are powder coated with glossy blue finish for corrosion resistance and aesthetics. These light masts are typically mounted to trailers or other stable surfaces via a 15 inch by 13 inch, 1/4 inch thick mounting base-plate which has been drilled to accept six 1/2 inch anchor bolts. A 36" wide and 2" by 2" by 1/8" thick mounting plate is attached to the upper section of the mast which provides a strong and stable platform for light fixtures and equipment. The LM family of telescoping towers feature a proprietary mast guidance system, which provides increased stability during high winds. When lowered to 7 feet, the mast can withstand winds up to 125 mph. When elevated to its full upright position, the mast can be rotated a full 360°. By loosening the T-Handle, operators can rotate the mast with ease in either direction. The mast can be positioned in one of four different directions, and locked back in place by re-tightening the T-handle. The mast itself spins freely, and can typically be rotated with a single hand. The electric winch on this mast is offered in 120V or 240V AC 50/60 Hz. Additional voltage options are available at an additional charge. Larson Electronics can offer single phase and three phase AC winches, or low voltage DC winches. This light tower weighs approximately 350 lbs and can easily support and lift 100 lbs fixtures. The entire tower assembly is shipped via common freight carrier and when shipped measures approximately 6.5 feet long, 4 feet wide, 5 feet tall and weighs approximately 500 lbs. Larson Electronics can custom tailor these units to the customer’s requirements with longer sections and larger mounting plates. We also offer a choice of either the manual 1,200 lbs hand winches included standard or optional electric winches.
