| Made in the USA The LM-16-FM-THM-ATM-MOD1 from Larson Electronics is a Portable Communication 2-Stage Tower that provides a safe and effective way for operators to quickly deploy equipment for mobile communication operations. This unit features a heavy-duty mast that can be elevated to 16 feet and an antenna mount pole (located at the top of the tower). The entire assembly can be mounted on trucks/trailers or in a stationary configuration. When ordering this unit, please select from the following finishes: powder coated or galvanized. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO LIGHT MASTS OR LIGHT TOWERS* This telescoping two stage steel light mast from Larson Electronics is designed to allow operators to securely deploy mobile communication systems in temporary locations and remote sites. where this equipment must be elevated to heights up to 16 feet for effective coverage. The trailer hitch mount design and pair of 1,000 lb adjustable outriggers allow for operators to deploy antennas in remote locations and anywhere a truck or vehicle with a trailer hitch can be driven. This light boom can be extended to 16 feet for maximum area coverage and collapsed to 10 feet for applications where a smaller footprint is required. The tower is constructed of square steel tubing with a lower section 10 feet in length and 4 inches in diameter and an upper section 8 feet in length and 3 inches in diameter with 1 foot of overlap. The mast is elevated using an included 1,200 lb manual winch with 3/16 inch cable. This unit comes with a 24" tall antenna mount pole (OD 2") at the top of the tower. The LM series of towers are powder coated with glossy blue finish for corrosion resistances and aesthetics. These light masts are mounted to standard trailer hitch mounts found on a variety of vehicles. A 44" wide and 2" by 2" by 1/8" thick mounting plate is attached to the upper section of the mast which provides a strong and stable platform for mounted light fixtures and equipment. The LM family of telescoping towers feature a proprietary mast guidance system, which provides increased stability during high winds. When lowered to 10 feet, the mast can withstand winds up to 125 mph. The mast can be positioned in one of four different directions, and locked back in place by re-tightening the T-handle. This portable communication tower weighs approximately 275 lb and can easily support and lift 150 lb fixtures. The entire tower assembly is shipped via common freight carrier and when shipped measures approximately 10 feet long, 4 feet wide, 3 feet tall and weighs approximately 325 lb. Larson Electronics can custom tailor these units to the customer`s requirements with longer sections and different sized trailer hitches. We also offer a choice of electric 2,500lbs winch instead of the 1,200lbs manual winch. Suggested Applications: Temporary lighting, construction sites, and security camera deployment.
