| This unit is Made In USA - Manufactured in Texas The LM-18-7-4S-FM-EWGI-24V-MODIDC from Larson Electronics is a 4-Stage Light Mast that provides a safe and effective way for operators to quickly deploy lights, security cameras and other equipment to elevations of up to eighteen feet. This light tower features a rotating boom that allows for 360° of rotation, a cord reel mounting plate and a removable mast head for storing mounted equipment when not in use. The mast is powered by an electric winch (24V DC), with a red visual stop identifier at the second stage of the tower to notify operators about the level of extension during deployment. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO LIGHT MASTS OR LIGHT TOWERS* This telescoping four stage steel light mast from Larson Electronics is designed to allow operators to quickly and safely deploy lighting, cameras, and other electrical equipment in locations where this equipment must be elevated to heights up to 18` for effective coverage. This light boom can be extended to 18` for maximum area coverage and collapsed to 7` for applications where a smaller footprint is required. The tower is constructed of square steel tubing with a base stage 5.98` in length and 5" by 5" by 3/16" thick, third stage 5.56` and 4" by 4" by 1/8" thick, second stage 5.27` and 3" by 3" by 1/8" thick and a top stage 4.98` and 2" by 2" by 1/8" thick. Each section has a 2` minimum overlap. During operation, the mast is extended to its full height using an electric winch system that operates on 24V DC. To prevent over extending the mast, a red visual stop identifier is available as a guide. When extending the mast, operators much watch out for the indicator line. Upon making visual contact with the indicator line during deployment, the operator may stop extending the mast. The LM series of towers are powder coated with glossy blue finish for corrosion resistances and aesthetics or galvanized for superior corrosion resistance. A 44" wide and 2" by 2" by 1/4" thick mounting plate is attached to the upper section of the mast which provides a strong and stable platform for light fixtures and equipment. The LM-18-7-4S-FM-EWGI-24V-MODIDC also features a cord reel mounting plate. The mounting plate measures 12" x 9" and is located at the base stage of the light mast above the winch. This component is also powder coated in glossy blue to match the mast. The LM family of telescoping towers feature a proprietary mast guidance system, which provides increased stability during high winds. When lowered to 4.5`, the mast can withstand winds up to 125 mph. When elevated to its full upright position, the mast can be rotated a full 360°. By loosening the T-Handle, operators can rotate the mast with ease in either direction. The mast can be positioned in one of four different directions, and locked back in place by re-tightening the T-handle. The mast itself spins freely, and can typically be rotated with a single hand. This light tower weighs approximately 150 lbs and can easily support and lift 125 lbs fixtures. The entire tower assembly is shipped via common freight carrier and when shipped measures approximately 8` long, 4` wide, 5` tall and weighs approximately 375 lbs. Larson Electronics can custom tailor these units to the customer`s requirements with longer sections and larger mounting plates. We also offer a choice of either the manual 1,000 lbs hand winch included standard or optional electric winch. Suggested Applications: Temporary lighting, construction sites, and security camera deployment.
