Made in the USA The Larson Electronics LM-SYM-50-5S-FM-EW Syncing Telescoping Light Mast provides a safe and effective way for operators to quickly deploy lights, security cameras and other equipment to elevations up to fifty feet. This light tower features a rotating boom that allows for 360° of rotation, and a removable mast head for storing mounted equipment when not in use. Equipped with an electric winch, this unit can be synced with other masts in the LM-SYM series. A master remote control box (not included) is required for syncing operation. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO LIGHT MASTS OR LIGHT TOWERS* This telescoping five stage steel light mast from Larson Electronics is designed to allow operators to quickly and safely deploy lighting, cameras, and other electrical equipment in locations where this equipment must be elevated to heights up to 50 feet for effective coverage. This syncing light boom can be extended to 50 feet for maximum area coverage and collapsed to 13.5 feet for applications where a smaller footprint is required. The tower is constructed of square steel tubing with a base section 11` in length and 6" x 6" by 3/16" thick, lower section 11` in length and 5" x 5" by 3/16" thick, middle section 11` in length and 4" x 4" by 1/8" thick, an upper section 11` in length and 3" x 3" by 1/8" thick, and a top section 11` in length and 2" x 2" by 1/8" thick. Each section has a 15-18" overlap. The mast is elevated using an included 2,500 lbs electric winch with 3/16 inch cable. This electric winch can be sync'd with other masts in the LM-SYM series and is not compatible with standard electric winch masts. Syncing occurs when the towers are raised and lowered. During operation, the syncing masts may have up to 12" height variation for short periods of times only. When the towers are being raised or lowered in sync, all units elevate (or move down for collapsing) to a set height then pause before elevating (or moving down for collapsing) and pausing again to the next set height. This process is continuous until all syncing masts reach their full extended height or collapsed height. The staggered raising and lowering pattern ensures all towers sync as accurately as possible, while taking a wide range of elements such as wear, payload weight, voltage variation and other unforeseen factors into consideration. The LM-SYM-50-5S-FM-EW requires a control box (not included) for syncing operation with compatible LM-SYM masts. Syncing is only possible with the master remote control box. Each mast has its own set of controls for individual raising and lowering. The LM series of towers are powder coated with glossy blue finish for corrosion resistance and aesthetics. These light masts are typically mounted to trailers or other stable surfaces via an 18" x 18", 3/8" thick mounting base-plate which has been drilled to accept six 1/2 inch anchor bolts. A 44" wide and 1/8" thick mounting T head is attached to the upper section of the mast which provides a strong and stable platform for fixtures. The LM family of telescoping towers feature a proprietary mast guidance system, which provide increased stability during high winds. When lowered to 14 feet, the mast can withstand winds up to 125 mph. When elevated to its full upright position, the mast can be rotated a full 360°, regardless of the extended height of the mast. By loosening the T-Handle, operators can rotate the mast with easy in either direction. The mast can be positioned in one of four different directions, and locked back in place by re-tightening the T-handle. The mast itself spins freely with easy, and can typically be rotated with a single hand. This light tower weighs approximately 1300 lbs, can easily support and lift 150 lbs of fixtures and/or equipment. The entire tower assembly is shipped via common freight carrier and when shipped measures approximately 16.5 feet long, 4 feet wide, 5 feet tall and weighs approximately 2000 lbs. Larson Electronics can custom tailor these units to the customer's requirements with longer sections and larger mounting plates. Suggested Applications: Temporary lighting, construction sites, and security camera deployment. We can equip this mast with 1000W or 1500W Metal Halide lights or a wide variety of high powered LED lights with comparable power, including the , , or . |
