| Made in the USA The LM-VLD-NB-20-9-3S from Larson Electronics is a Three Stage Low Payload High Windload Light Mast that provides a safe and effective way for operators to quickly deploy lights, security cameras, and other equipment to elevations up to twenty feet. The LM-VLD-NB-20-9-3S is not equipped with a base which gives operators the freedom to decide upon their own preferred mounting method. The lack of a base makes this mast a good fit for wall mounting, trailer mounting, or other custom designs and applications. The LM-VLD-NB-20-9-3S can withstand wind gusts up to 100 miles per hour when mounted equipment weighs fifteen pounds or less. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO LIGHT MASTS, LIGHT TOWERS, OR TRIPODS* This telescoping three stage steel light mast from Larson Electronics is designed to allow operators to quickly and safely deploy lighting, cameras, and other electrical equipment in locations where this equipment must be elevated to heights up to 20 feet for effective coverage. This light boom can be extended to 20 feet for maximum area coverage and collapsed to 9 feet for applications where a footprint smaller is required. The tower is constructed of square steel tubing with a lower section 9 feet in length and 4 inches in diameter, a middle section 8 feet in length and 3.5 inches in diameter, and an upper section 6 feet and 3 inches in diameter. Each section has 2` of overlap. The mast is elevated using an included 1,000 lb hand winch with 3/16" cable. The winch is mounted 51.39" above the bottom of the mast. The LM-VLD-NB-20-9-3S is available in either a powder coated glossy blue finish or a galvanized finish. Please make your selection below when ordering. This light mast is NOT equipped with a mounting base allowing operators to design or employ their own mounting solution. The LM-VLD-NB-20-9-3S can be ideal for custom wall mounting, custom trailer mounting, and other custom applications. A 36 inch wide and 1/4 inch thick mounting plate is attached to the upper section of the mast which provides a strong and stable platform for equipment. The LM family of telescoping towers feature a proprietary mast guidance system, which provides increased stability during high winds. When elevated to its full upright position, the mast can withstand 100 MPH gusts when mounted equipment weighs 15 lb or less and it can be rotated a full 360°. By loosening the T-Handle, operators can rotate the mast with ease in either direction. The mast can be positioned in one of four different directions, and locked back in place by re-tightening the T-handle. The mast itself spins freely with ease, and can typically be rotated with a single hand. This light tower weighs approximately 800 lb and can easily support and lift 15 pounds of lights or equipment. The entire tower assembly is shipped via common freight carrier and when shipped measures approximately 12 feet long, 4 feet wide, 5 feet tall and weighs approximately 1000 lb. Larson Electronics can custom tailor these units to the customer`s requirements with longer sections and larger mounting plates. For example, the LM-30-3S is another model that reaches to a length of 30 feet, with a 14 foot lower section, 12 foot middle section, and a 8 foot upper section and a 4 foot wide upper mounting bracket. Suggested Applications: Temporary lighting, construction sites, security camera deployment, and other custom needs such as wall mounting or trailer mounting.
