Made in Texas The Larson Electronics MPD-SC2-K01-SR2SY-2.N03-M2 Hard Case Power Distribution is a portable power solution designed for rugged areas, industrial facilities and remote sites. This mobile power distribution unit provides operators the ability to safely tap into and distribute 220V 50Hz power from a variety of sources, including generators and direct grid power. All system components are protected by a standard 4U polyethylene hard case with recessed side handles. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO POWER DISTRIBUTION PANELS, TRANSFORMERS, OR SUBSTATIONS* Portable Power Distribution Purpose and Use The MPD-SC2-K01-SR2SY-2.N03-M2 portable power distribution system gives operators the ability to power their 110 volt equipment from a single system. Power indicator lights on the primary side are available for real-time power status notification. From equipment testing to live recording sets, these portable stations make power at busy production sites readily available and safe to use. On the primary side, operators connect 220V line-in power using a 5-foot 16/3 cord with a 16-amp 2-pin CEE7 Schuko 250V cord cap. The secondary side contains five 5-15R receptacles for 120V equipment. Operation: A 5-foot 16/3 cord with a 16-amp 2-pin CEE7 Schuko 250V cord cap brings 220V 50Hz to the primary side of the power distribution unit, which contains one 10-amp NRTL certified to UL 489 main circuit breaker, and passes power to the isolation transformer. The 2 KVA transformer converts 220V 50Hz (L+N European 220V) to 110V 50Hz and passes power to the secondary side of the system. The secondary side is equipped with five 15-amp 125V 5-15R receptacles. Protective Construction: All components are secured inside a standard 4U polyethylene case. During transport, the input cord can be wrapped and stored inside the black case. The lockable unit features threaded, field replaceable 7mm zinc-plated steel front and rear rack rails. Equipped with heavy-duty twist latches, the exterior has recessed side handles for easy transportation. This case can withstand frequent handling and rugged environments. Certification: All units are built in accordance to NFPA 70 (National Electric Code) and certified to UL 1640. NEMA 3R, NEMA 4 and NEMA 4X equipment can be equipped upon request. Applications: This power distribution system is ideal for indoor or outdoor use and applications including but not limited to, movie sets, entertainment, television sets, stage lighting, studio recording, sporting events, rigging, audio and video production, concerts and motion picture production. These power distribution systems are popularly used in applications where external power sources are often necessary. We also offer class rated transformers for use within explosion proof and hazardous location environments.
