The unit takes single phase 240 V current and converts it to 12 volts DC, allowing users to use 12 V DC power to operate equipment like our LED light bars and Golights. The MT-MDC-240V-3.6KVA-12V.DC-4X75A-N4-TB is mounted on a portable dolly cart, and is rated NEMA 4 for outdoor marine use. The MT-MDC-240V-3.6KVA-12V.DC-4X75A-N4-TB power converter provides a safe and effective way for users to tap into and utilize single phase 240 V power sources and convert this current to 12 V DC. This unit can be operated with 240 V input current and will output 12 V DC current to power lights and equipment up to 75 amps. The small size of this unit makes it ideal for indoor-outdoor operation of Larson Electronics LED light bars, Golights, and other equipment that requires 12 V DC current in locations where single phase 240 V current is readily available. Features: The MT-MDC-240V-3.6KVA-12V.DC-4X75A-N4-TB converter can be operated with single phase 240 V voltage. The unit converts this power input to 12 V DC current rated at 75 amps. This power device is equipped with a Class A/B EMC filter and utilizes fan cooling. The transformer is enclosed in a powder coated steel housing for durability. The power converter has a -40°C to +65°C operating temperature range. This converter is equipped with four terminal block connections for the customer to connect 12 V DC devices to. NOTE: In order to obtain the best performance and the longest operational life from these units, it is recommended that you do not exceed 75% of the unit's output amperage. To determine if this converter suits your desired application, add together the total wattage of the equipment you intend to use with this unit and divide this total by 12 volts to find the total amperage draw that will be placed upon the converter. Running these units at 100% of their capacity can create excess heat and lead to shortened converter life. Mounting: The transformer and load center/distribution assembly is mounted to a standard upright steel dolly cart style frame resulting in an extremely stable, durable, and mobile power distribution platform. For even more stability, the MT-MDC-240V-3.6KVA-12V.DC-4X75A-N4-TB features a rear-mounted kick stand that can easily be deployed when the unit is in the desired position. This kick stand increases the stability of this unit so that the risk of it being knocked over or falling down are almost completely eliminated.
