The Larson Electronics MT-SRG-T2SP-BP-3PH-100KA-208Y.120-N4X Surge Protective Device actively protects electrical systems and sensitive equipment in rugged work sites. This Type 2 SPD is compatible with three-phase 208Y/120V AC (Wye-N), 50/60Hz and is rated at 100kA maximum surge current per phase. The NEMA 4X rated device is constructed of steel and can be mounted securely on surfaces or walls.
The MT-SRG-T2SP-BP-3PH-100KA-208Y.120-N4X offers electrical protection for heavy-duty equipment in industrial buildings. This surge protective device operates with three-phase 208Y/120V AC, 50/60Hz. Equipped with a Wye 4-wire + G configuration, the unit caters to 100kA maximum surge current per phase and up to -30dB EMI/RFI. Diagnostics indicators include: green status LEDs, dry contacts and audible alarm (no silence switch). Dry contact leads (24V AC/DC; 2A max) are used to facilitate remote monitoring to a computer interface board or emergency system. Diagnostic LEDs located at the front of the device can be utilized to verify the presence of all phase voltages.
The industrial SPD is constructed of steel. A NEMA 4X rating provides protection against ingress of water, dust/debris, corrosion and external formation of ice. As a Type 2 surge protective device, the unit is designed for installation on the load side of a system's overcurrent protective device. Alternatively, operators may also install the SPD at the service entrance point (load side).
Wiring:
This surge protective device is equipped with terminals, which accommodates #10 AWG 18" wire leads. Wiring is fed through the bottom of the electrical unit, passing through a 3/4" NPT opening.
Mount:
The MT-SRG-T2SP-BP-3PH-100KA-208Y.120-N4X is compatible with surface or wall mounting applications. Four mounting holes are provided at the back of the SPD for direct placement over the desired surface during installation.
