| The Larson Electronics PLM-15-5S-FM-4X1500W-MH Metal Halide Light Mast is a pneumatic light tower that is designed for high-intensity illumination in outdoor locations, such as stadiums, roadways, construction sites and industrial facilities. This unit features four 1,500-watt metal halide lamps (total 6,000 watts) and is capable of elevated positions ranging between 4.5`-15`. All cables are fed internally for clean, non-intrusive operation. The metal halide light mast comes in the following voltage options: 208V, 240V or 277V. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO LIGHT MASTS OR LIGHT TOWERS* The PLM-15-5S-FM-4X1500W-MH is an ideal lighting solution for intense, wide area lighting requirements in outdoor locations. Four 1,500-watt metal halide lamps emit 6,000 watts of white light in a flood beam configuration. A 19†or 23" aluminum reflector housing ensures even spread over the target area. The reflector on the lamps are constructed of aluminum with a clear tempered glass lens which is hinged onto the reflector and secured into place with a four-point latching system. The lamp sockets are die cast aluminum and separate from the reflector for added durability. Operators may adjust the luminaries vertically or horizontally for accurate aiming. Durability: The light mast is capable of reaching heights between 4.5`-15`. Constructed of high strength, heat treated aluminum tubing for superior durability, this tower is comprised of five sections, and includes a locking top mounting plate for easy removal of equipment. The mast is elevated using an air compressor (sold seperately). An air release valve located at the base of this pneumatic mast allows operators to lower the tower. A T-mounting platform at the top of the unit supports the four metal halide lamps and remote ballasts during operation. This light tower features a weight capacity of 600 lbs. The entire tower assembly is shipped via common freight carrier. Larson Electronics can customize these units to the customer’s requirements with longer sections and larger mounting plates. Wiring/Mounting: The PLM-15-5S-FM-4X1500W-MH comes with a 10/3 SOOW internal cable that is fed inside the structure for a clean appearance, which also decreases obstruction during setup, use and tear down. A 5` whip located at the base of the tower is available for connection to a power source. This unit is surface-mount compatible via four 5/8" pre-drilled anchor holes at the base of the assembly. The anchor holes accept 9/16" anchor bolts. Applications: Outdoor locations, industrial facilities, construction sites, roadways, stadiums, public parks, camp sites, military, law enforcement, large-scale projects, intense lighting requirements, wet locations, docks, maintenance/repair projects and more.
