| The Larson Electronics PLM-18-CCTV-PTB-24V.AP-VWM-KT Pneumatic Light Mast Kit w/ Internal Cables provide a safe and effective way for operators to quickly deploy lights, security cameras and other equipment to elevations up to 20 feet. This packaged kit includes a flat mounting base for the mast, air compressor, pressure switch, remote-controlled pan tilt base, 10' pneumatic hose and internal cables. The mast is compatible with vehicle mounting applications and can be collapsed to 8.5 feet for seamless transportation or storage. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO LIGHT MASTS OR LIGHT TOWERS* This rugged telescoping pneumatic light tower mast is designed to allow operators to quickly and safely deploy lighting and other electrical equipment in locations where this equipment must be elevated to heights up to 20 feet for effective application. Internal cables include: (3) 16 AWG cables - white, black and green; (2) 14 AWG cables - black and red; (2) RG6 coax cables and (1) CAT5e network cable. This light boom can be extended to 20 feet for maximum area coverage and collapsed to 8.5 feet to bring equipment closer to the target area as well as for transport and storage. In order to clear most road applications, the mast height with equipment installed at the top should not exceed 13 feet. The tower is constructed of high strength, heat treated aluminum tubing for durability. This tower is comprised of three 6.7` sections, and includes a locking top mounting plate for easy removal of lights or cameras. Pan/Tilt Base: The included pan/tilt base provides operators with a remote method for controlling lights, cameras, and other mounted equipment. An 8" by 10" mounting plate allows operators to mount a variety of user-provided equipment to the top of the pan/tilt base, including LED and HID lights, cameras, and antennas. Additional mounting brackets are available, sold separately. The pan/tilt base operates on 12V DC and power is ran through the mast along two of the 16 AWG internal cables. The gears of the pan/tilt base provide no slip and no "slop" during operation, and holds its position after movement has stopped. This pan/tilt base will keep its position during storms and strong winds, and withstands vibrations in vehicle and offshore applications. The included 14 AWG cables can be used to provide power to other equipment mounted at the top of the tower. These cables can handle up to 15 amps (180 watts @ 12V DC, 360 watts @ 24V DC). Operators may access a coax cable for operating analog cameras or radio antennas and a network cable for operating network equipment at the top of the mast. It is possible to install a network switch at the top of the tower for operating additional network equipment. Air Compressor/Pressure Switch: A heavy-duty air compressor and pressure switch are available for raising the mast and maintaining its raised position. The compressor, which operates on 12V DC and has a permanent magnetic motor, can be wired to the remote switch inside the vehicle in order to raise the mast. This air compressor has a 150 PSI maximum working pressure and offers 100% duty cycle @ 100 PSI. The pressure switch measures the internal pressure of the mast and has a 3-40 psig set point pressure range (set points can be set by the customer) with 600 psig maximum pressure. Equipped with 1/4" terminal blades, the switch is made out of zinc alloy. Upon sensing low pressure, the air compressor is automatically activated to maintain mast elevation. Cutting power to the switch lowers the mast over a set period of time. It is possible to remove the air plug in the base for faster lowering. An included 10' pneumatic cable routes the air compressor inside the vehicle. Mast Mounting: These light masts are typically mounted to vehicles via an included mounting base. This solution caters to flat base mounting to extended rear bumpers or flat wall mounting to the side of vehicles, such as a flat door plate or the side of a utility bed. This light tower weighs 300 lbs., and can easily support and lift 150 lbs. of lights, cameras, and other electrical equipment. The entire tower assembly is shipped via common freight carrier and when shipped measures approximately 12 feet long, 4 feet wide, 3 feet tall and weighs 350 lbs. Larson Electronics is a manufacturer and as such can custom tailor these units to the customer’s requirements with longer sections and larger mounting plates.  Suggested Applications: Lighting and security camera deployment.
