' Product Overview '
The Larson Electronics TPM-CL1B-16CC Pole Mounted Class 1 LED Strobe Light is a powerful strobing solution that is mounted on a telescoping pole for elevated signaling. This low voltage unit is protected by a polycarbonate lens and comes with wireless remote controls. Equipped with 30 flashing patterns and four simulated rotating patterns, the Class 1 rated beacon is available in white, green blue, amber or red. The TPM-CL1B-16CC contains an LED lamp assembly that produces 360° of brilliant light, which is secured to the top of an aluminum pole for elevated positioning. This beacon is equipped with auxiliary LEDs on top, helping make it a Class 1 rated beacon and is capable of producing a flashing pattern that is visible at extended distances. During use, the LED strobe light offers 1,440 lumens of output. Available color options include: white, green, blue, amber or red. This LED beacon has 30 flash patterns including four simulated rotating patterns. This unit also offers alternate or simultaneous flash patterns with up to eight connected LED beacons. This waterproof beacon has a black powder coated die cast base that contains a fully potted circuit board. A clear polycarbonate lens protects the LED assembly and the housing is waterproof, shock resistant and built for for reliable and durable operation.

LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life. LED lights run at significantly cooler temperatures than traditional metal halide and high pressure sodium lights and contain no harmful gases, vapors, or mercury, making them both safer and more energy efficient. No extra energy is wasted in cooling enclosed work areas due to external heat emissions from bulb type lights, and the operator risks associated with traditional lighting methods, such as accidental burns and exposure to hazardous substances contained in the glass bulbs, are eliminated. In addition, LEDs are also safer for the environment as they are 100% recyclable, which eliminates the need for costly special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps. Remote Operation: The TPM-CL1B-16CC features a pair of 433 MHz wireless remote controls, which cater to 2,000+ address codes with 7 station dip switch. These components are powered by two Duracell MN21 12V batteries. The TPM-CL1B-16CC ships with (2) wireless handheld remotes and (1) dash mount for one of the remotes. Power: This light operates with 12 or 24 volts DC and draws 1.2 amps, making it ideal for vehicles, boats, ATVs, and similar sources of 12 or 24 volt direct current.

Wiring: Each light comes with a detachable 16-foot coil cord with cigarette plug. The cord is detached via a weatherproof, 2 pin Deutsch connector which easily and securely attaches and detaches the coil cord from the spotlight. Other cords, including 21 foot cords with ring terminals (C-21RT), 16 foot cord with spring battery clamps (alligator clips) (C-16BC) and a 16 foot straight cord with cigarette plug (C-16CP) are available. Mounting: The pole used with the TPM-CL1B-16CC is the . The pole is adjustable from 3.19 feet to 8.35 feet without the light. The pole mount allows the light to be easily installed and/or removed and stored from the top of the pole. The system also includes a mounting bracket that allows operators to install the light in their required location. The mount bracket features four predrilled holes for mounting to any flat vertical surface. Once the mounting bracket is installed, the pole is then slipped into the bracket and secured with a T-handle bolt. Suggested Applications: This light is ideal for hunting, security, boating, law enforcement, emergency services, utilities and more.
