The Larson Electronics VPLHL-100W-123-100 100 watt Vaporproof Trouble Light / Hand Lamp / Drop Light light with 100` cord is both waterproof and vapor proof and constructed and certified to prevent the intrusion of water and/or moisture into the handle and/or head when used as instructed in wet locations. This unit is NRTL Certified to UL 153 and NEMA 4X.
This 100 watt incandescent vaporproof work light from LarsonElectronics.com comes complete with a 100` long 12/3 SOOW cable for long range and convenient operation. This waterproof and vaporproof drop light features a rubberized, insulated handle to provide a safe and secure grip and a stainless steel wire guard enclosure to protect the glass dome.
Vaporproof lights are constructed and NRTL Certified to UL 153 standards, NEMA 4X rated, and designed to prevent water and/or moisture to enter the handle and/or head when used as instructed in wet locations. Rubberized handle improves operators grip and stainless steel mesh guard enclosures protects glass dome. Stainless hook enables operator to hang this task light overhead. Effective wet area task lighting that illuminates 5 feet in all directions with 3 foot candles of light, which is approximately the same amount of light available directly under a street light.
Lamp: Each vapor proof lamp is equipped with a 60 watt, 75 watt, or 100 watt rough service lamp that is protected by a tempered glass globe.
Please note, incandescent lamps are being phased out. Larson Electronics offers a line of vapor proof LED drop lights equipped with industrial grade LED lamps with higher light coverage than standard 100 watt rough service lamps.
