The WAL-ML-2X1500W-MH mini light tower with wheeled based is a portable lighting system designed for high mobility while providing enough output to illuminate approximately 2.5 acres of area effectively. Equipped with two 1500 watt high output metal halide lamps, this mini tower provides operators with an easily deployed lighting system that can provide large scale illumination. This crank-up style light mast allows operators to extend the light mast from 7` to 12` above the deck of the pull around cart, elevating the light heads to heights over 14.5` above ground level.
This portable flood lighting system is comprised of two adjustable metal halide light heads mounted atop a telescoping mini light tower mounted to a wheeled cart base. This adjustable and collapsible tower can be extended to twelve feet, collapsed to seven feet, and includes four wheels allow the operator simply roll the entire assembly to a new location when fully deployed. The MH light fixture assembly can be removed by releasing the hand knob and sliding the light and mounting bracket off of the center support, aiding in deployment, storage and transport. The lamp can be easily adjusted vertically and locked into position.
The WAL-ML-2X1500W-MH mini light tower features an extendable tower assembly that can be adjusted from 7 to 12 feet in height for maximum coverage. A single hand crank allows operators to easily raise or lower the tower as needed, and a removable lamp mounting platform allows removal of the lamp assembly for easier transport and storage. The tower is constructed of heavy gauge steel for durability, and a tough powder coat finish provides protection against rust and corrosion. The base of the tower is fitted with two solid wheels to allow easy positioning; the operator can simply tilt the unit back and roll it into the desired location as needed.
Lights: Included with this light tower are two of our wet area suitable metal halide fixtures producing approximately 150,000 lumens each, for a combined total of 300,000 lumens at 2,000 watts. These lamps have 19" reflectors and are constructed of aluminum with a clear tempered glass lens which is secured into place with a heavy duty gasket and single ring lock. Each floodlight is securely fastened to the light boom and each lamp includes a support bracket to help maintain lamp stability within its housing. The lamps are connected to the power source via a water tight male pin connector that attaches to a receptacle located on the end of the telescoping boom. We offer a color temperature of 4100K as standard, with 3500K warm white as an alternative.
Voltage: The ballast on this mini light tower are mult-tap and factory tapped to 240V.
Wiring and Plug: This cart mounted light tower flood lighting system is equipped with 100 feet of 12/3 chemical and abrasion resistant SOOW cord that is fitted with an industrial grade cord cap for easy connection to common wall outlets. Plug options NEMA L6-20 or L14-20 20 amp twist lock plugs for 240V twist lock outlets. Alternatively, we can provide flying leads with no plug for hard wire applications or for operators who prefer to wire in user provided cord caps. Please choose pigtail option below for flying leads with no plug.
The deck of the pull around cart features enough room for user provided generators or tool boxes. Alternatively, Larson Electronics can equip this unit with a single 3000 VA gasoline generator is mounted to the base of this tower to provide standalone power for the LED lamps and allows for quiet operation and 10 or more hours of run time on a single tank of fuel. This generator also includes standard 120 and 240 volt outlets for accessory attachments, allowing operators to run tools and other equipment while also operating the lights.
