Made in the USA The WAL-ML-30-9-2X150LTL-LED 300-Watt LED Light Tower on Non-Towable Wheeled Cart from Larson Electronics is an ideal solution for operators who need a fully portable, self contained, easy to operate light system capable of illuminating large areas. Adjustable from 9 to 30 feet in height above the cart deck and equipped with two 150 watt LED lamps, this unit will provide over 40,500 lumens of quality illumination. This portable light tower is mounted on a cart with plenty of room for a genset, toolbox or other equipment and gear and comes equipped with 100` of 10/3 SOOW chemical and abrasion resistant cord terminated in a choice of cord caps. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO LIGHT MASTS OR LIGHT TOWERS* The WAL-ML-30-9-2X150LTL-LED light tower is a portable lighting system designed high mobility while providing enough output to illuminate large areas effectively. Equipped with two 150-watt high output LED lamps, this LED light tower provides operators with an easily deployed lighting system that can provide large scale illumination. This crank-up style light mast allows operators to extend the light mast from 9` to 30` above the deck of the pull around cart, elevating the light heads to heights up to 30` above ground level. This light tower provides operators with an easily deployed lighting system that can provide large scale illumination to a work site or job area.
This portable flood lighting system is comprised of two adjustable LED light heads mounted atop a telescoping light tower mounted to a wheeled cart base. The cart base has enough space on the deck for a genset, toolbox or other gear. This adjustable and collapsible tower can be extended to thirty feet, collapsed to nine feet, and includes four wheels allow the operator simply roll the entire assembly to a new location when fully deployed. The LED light fixture assembly can be removed by releasing the hand knob and sliding the light and mounting bracket off of the center support, aiding in deployment, storage and transport. The lamp can be easily adjusted vertically and locked into position. The WAL-ML-30-9-2X150LTL-LED light tower features an extendable tower assembly that can be adjusted from 9 to 30 feet in height for maximum coverage. A single hand crank allows operators to easily raise or lower the tower as needed, and a removable lamp mounting platform allows removal of the lamp assembly for easier transport and storage. The tower is constructed of heavy gauge steel for durability, and a tough powder coat finish provides protection against rust and corrosion. The base of the tower is fitted with two solid wheels to allow easy positioning; the operator can simply tilt the unit back and roll it into the desired location as needed. Lights: Included with this light tower are one of our wet area suitable LED fixtures producing approximately 20,250 lumens each, for a combined total of 40,500 lumens at 300 watts. The GAU-LTL-150W-LED LED light from Larson Electronics produces 20,250 lumens of high intensity light while drawing only 150 watts at 1.25 amps from a 120 volt electrical system. Sixteen CREE® high output LEDs producing 1,350 lumens each are arranged in rows and paired with PMMA high purity optics to produce a well focused 24° wide spot beam that is ideal for providing far reaching concentrated illumination while still covering a substantial amount of area. We also offer optional optics with 10° spot, 38° narrow flood, 60° flood, and 90° wide flood beam spreads. The spot beams are tightly focused and are designed for high elevation mounting to achieve distance, making spot versions ideal for high mast and spots lighting. The flood beams are designed to provide more light over a larger area nearer the fixture, making flood versions ideal for use as dedicated work and area lights. The GAU-LTL-150W-LED LED light offers intense light output and is ideal for flood lighting, high mast lighting, light towers, as well as industrial and outdoor lighting applications. Producing 20,250 lumens each, a 1.25 amp draw at 120V, 80,000 hour service life, 120-277 volt compatibility, and IP67 waterproof rating, this LED flood light provides operators with a rugged and powerful LED alternative to 400 watt metal halide lamps that uses little power and can withstand rugged use and abusive conditions. GAU-LTL-150W-LED lights are ideal replacements for fragile and hot running 400 watt metal halide lamps. They offer low power requirements, high durability and a versatile mounting system that makes these LED light emitters a superior lighting solution for demanding applications where power and reliability is critical.
The above image shows the comparison of the traditional (4) 400 watt metal halides light fixtures mounted to a 30` light tower (left) to (4) GAU-LTL-150W-LED 150 watt LED light fixtures mounted to a 30` light tower. The area being illuminated by each tower is 300` in length and 250` in width. Unlike the metal halide light fixtures, there are no hot spots with these LED fixtures. This high output LED light fixture provides an even beam spread over the targeted work area without overcast, glare, light spillage, and wasted illumination. Color rendering is also increased with LED light plants, providing a more realistic night vision that more closely resembles natural daylight illumination.
LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life. LED lights run at significantly cooler temperatures than traditional metal halide and high pressure sodium lights and contain no harmful gases, vapors, or mercury, making them both safer and more energy efficient. No extra energy is wasted in cooling enclosed work areas due to external heat emissions from bulb type lights, and the operator risks associated with traditional lighting methods, such as accidental burns and exposure to hazardous substances contained in the glass bulbs, are eliminated. In addition, LEDs are also safer for the environment as they are 100% recyclable, which eliminates the need for costly special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps. Heat Management: Heat is the single largest factor in premature LED failure and color shifting. These LED units feature individual heat sinks per bank of six LEDs to control heat buildup rather than utilizing a single housing to dissipate heat. This allows for more thorough cooling of the LEDs for extended operating periods. This allows the LEDs to be driven at up to 90% capacity without overheating or visible loss of light output. The end result is more light with less heat and longer LED life with an average 70% lumen maintenance after 80,000 hours. Durability: As well as unparalleled heat control, the GAU-LTL-150W-LED series of LED lights from Larson Electronics also offer IP67 rated construction that is designed to withstand extremes of environmental and operating conditions. These units can withstand rapid temperature changes of -40° Celsius to +80° Celsius, are waterproof, and resist ingress of dust, dirt and humidity. The housings are formed from die cast aluminum and the optics are high transmission PMMA with 98% light transmittance. The CREE® LEDs help these units achieve resistance to vibrations and are rated at 70% lumen maintenance after 80,000 hours of use. We recommend these LED lights for use in applications where a lot of vibration, dust, dirt, dampness and abusive working conditions are encountered.
