The WAL-SL-CBL-ITG-LED-5X from Larson Electronics is an LED String Light that features five 10W LED cube lights that each produce 1,000 lumens. This 5-Lamp LED String Light operates on 90-264V AC and features 10` of 16/3 SOOW cable between each light and a 25` 16/3 SOOW line-in cord terminated in a general area cord cap.
The WAL-SL-CBL-ITG-LED-5X draws a total of only 50 watts and produces a total of 5,000 lumens of high-quality LED light. This LED string light has an IP68 rating which means that it is protected from the ingress of dust and can survive being totally submerged in three feet of water. This makes the WAL-SL-CBL-ITG-LED-5X ideal for abusive environments and work locations. Operators have a choice of general area cord caps with this LED string light to suit a variety of different power situations.
The LED cube lights used on the WAL-SL-CBL-ITG-LED-5X LED string light each feature 40 LG LEDs to produce the 1,000 lumens per lamp. Each lamp is rated for a 50,000 hour service life. The WAL-SL-CBL-ITG-LED-5X is a compact and lightweight string light that tips the scales at 17.6 pounds. With an operating temperature of -30°C to +60°C, a durable polycarbonate lens and an 8.7Grms vibration tolerance rating, the WAL-SL-CBL-ITG-LED-5X is ideal for a wide variety of environments and sites.
LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life.
LED lights run at significantly cooler temperatures than traditional metal halide and high pressure sodium lights and contain no harmful gases, vapors, or mercury, making them both safer and more energy efficient. No extra energy is wasted in cooling enclosed work areas due to external heat emissions from bulb type lights, and the operator risks associated with traditional lighting methods, such as accidental burns and exposure to hazardous substances contained in the glass bulbs, are eliminated. In addition, LEDs are also safer for the environment as they are 100% recyclable, which eliminates the need for costly special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps.
Voltage: The power supply within each LED module provides the ability to automatically monitor and adjust input current to maintain the correct LED voltage levels regardless of input levels across a specific range. These light towers can operate on current ranging from 90 to 264V AC without any modifications necessary as a result. This ability to sense and adjust input current also provides protection against voltage spikes and drops that can occur in electrical systems which would otherwise result in burning up or premature LED failure without it.
